    1450 calories per day (not including any extras from exercise)

    Since joining MFP in April, I've maintained a 1-lb loss each week.
    Exercise is very sporadic, but I've recently joined a gym and hope that will improve.
    I eat my exercise calories only if I'm hungry for them.

    It says I should be getting 1570, but that seems like a bit much if I want to loose weight.

    Total daily calories 1450 to lose .5 lb/week (1720 to maintain current weight). I zig zag and on some days eat 1250 calories.

    Everyday, I automatically add 400 calories to my base for breastfeeding, and exercise to get over 1800 calories a day. I usuallyget between 2000 and 2400 calories a day with exercise, and you better believe I eat nearly every last one.

    I'm set to lose 1.5 lbs per week. I ususally eat some of my exercise calories. Have been lax lately. Following the 1900 goal more seriously again as of today. 677 cal left for dinner! :smile:

    (I feel guilty saying that as I realize that's more than half of what many of the ladies eat in a day....)

    I am working on gaining muscle. After being pg and bfeeding forever, I got back to getting myself back, and I realized, I lost 5lbs of muscle and gained way too much fat in its place. I have been on my program for 15ish weeks, and I am getting great results. I have a few pounds left to gain back, but stripping of the fat went fast, only 6wks. Now I am working on toning up to get back into that bikini and rock it like I did before having a baby!

    I'm meant to stay under 1200 kcal a day, but I think the only time I've done that was when I climbed a mountain and forgot to pack a lunch!!!
