Can't stop thinking about that damn donut.....

Why did Dunkin Donuts have to fill a donut with brownie batter? I have been thinking about the damn thing for 3 weeks!

I had to go look it up. Sounds delicious! Why not just get one? Or would that lead to wanting more?

My sister had one and was very dissapointed, if that helps. She said the brownie was kinda bland and not very chocolate-y

eat it and burn it off!
  • I just saw that freakin donut today when I was getting my coffee...might have to work it into my cals this weekend!! :D
  • So why not just earn it......do some extra cardio at least half of the calories that the donut has......then have it, enjoy it, love it, then forget it. I feel your pain on it cause its something new that hasn't touched my taste buds ever. So instead of driving yourself nuts earn it and indulge

I had one a couple of weeks ago (on vacation, so I strayed) - but it was totally worth it...and haven't even had a thought about a 2nd. Now if it was put in front of, that would be a different story...so I say go for it - but maybe as a special valentine's treat (and skip the box of chocolates)! :-)

Jog to the donut shop, get the donut and jog home!!!
  • I love everyones comments! I guess the real reason I haven't gotten one is because a Dunkin Donuts is about a 20 minute drive away for me. I tried to get one 2 weeks ago in the evening and they only had like 2 types of donuts left and that wasn't one of them. I took it as a sign.

  • I really should get one though because I have obviously become OBSESSED!

I had one after a 7-mile race. It was pretty good, but a little too sweet--the outside is glazed yeast doughnut, sadly. If they made it with a cakier batter, I'd marry them.

I saw them yesterday. I had to go in there to buy coffee. I resisted them and also the Boston Creme donuts which are my absolute favorite!

    1. Drive to Dunkin Donuts (wear running shoes and workout clothes).
    2. Run around the Dunkin Donuts building 10 times to build caloric deficit.
    3. Buy donut.
    4. Eat donut.
    5. ???
    6. Profit.

But but but donuts are so doughy and disgusting and turn into a ball of glop in your mouth, which is hard to swallow. Blegh! Just say no to donuts!

Go buy one and eat it:)
  • Maybe I will go this weekend and get one. I will make sure I fit it in the daily calorie goal. I'll let you all know if it was worth all the hype!
  • I got one. It was good but almost too sweet for me. The good news is that it's out of my system and I don't feel like I need to get another. I also worked out the calories that day and stayed within my calorie range. Winning

EAT THE DOUGHNUT! If you don't eat the doughnut, then you will break eventually and eat a dozen doughnuts. Trust me, a little now is better than the bakers dozen on your hips later.

    Girlfriend, that's what Zumba's for! Plan for a donut and a dance-a-thon.
Today I shook my booty, had a great time and burned 568 calories. And damn if you don't feel sexy shaking that thang!

Came up with a new thought to help the triggers...

Which will be worse to you?

Does the thought of depriving yourself from that doughnut cause you to feel more upset than the guilt you will have from saying yes.

If the thought of deprivations causes you to be more upset then try the doughnut. Make it a ritual. Buy a hot cup of coffee. Put it on a nice plate and enjoy it.

Now if the guilt is going to be worse and you'll be kicking yourself for the rest of the day then its not worth it. Move on it's just a doughnut.

Just choose what will be the worst option for your peace of mind.

That's how you do it! And now you're not thinking about it anymore.
