I gained 30 lbs over 8 months with the Mirena. I had mine removed, because it punctured my uterous and ended up in my abdomen.0

I also love my paragard. I had Mirena removed between my two kids, and I conceived within two days after. So be sure to use a different method if you do have it removed starting right away. The doctors told me it would probably take 6-9 months to conceive. Totally not the case.
I don't know that the hormones did or didn't do anything to my weight, though.0 -
Hated my mirena for non-weight related reasons (ridiculously itchy skin, constant bleeding and pain) so had it removed - no noticeable weightloss but skin LOTS better!
My friend got pregnant with the non-hormone one ... not just scary for the fact that she did but it also made the pregnancy high risk too so I would not consider that.0 -
I have a Nexplanon implant in my upper arm, works well and is not supposed to influence weight loss. ask you GP0
