Yup! I'm 44, will be 45 at the end of August.
Started my process 10/2011 at 307+ pounds at all of 5'3.5".
MFP and watching what I ate got me started.
Started working out at Curves 5 weeks later.
By 9/2012, I'd lost 100 pounds and gained lots of muscle!
I took a break at the end of October 2012 through January 2013 when I restarted my process. (I kept working out during that time but not has hard... just to stay active.)
I'm now down 109# and watching my strength build!
Heading for 30% BF vs. a # on the scale.

Hi. Just joined. Turned 50 recently. Would like to lose 30 lbs but my start goal is 13. Sounds more manageable. Recently got saliva tested for hormone deficiencies. Now that I'm getting those balanced its going to be easier to lose weight. At minimum Ill feel better and probably will have better commitment to losing weight.0

Yup im 42, still can't believe it! Been on MFP for about a month and it is really keeping me on task. A few of us from work check in together with the app and it is really helping. Lunch room is much different these days.. I am still a newbie here, but feel free to add me. I log on every day. Good luck to all!0
