I am 5'2. i started this journey in Feb. 2012. I was 154 lbs. I am now 117.

i was 206 lbs in march 2012 when i started my weightloss journey, i'm 5'4. i'm now 152lbs now, aiming to get down to 140lbs.

I'm 5'3" and have lost 34lbs (17.5 since Jan) 11 more to go!

That is such an inspiration for someone just starting out! You look really great now, it's hard to believe there's only 34lb of difference but I guess us shorties can't afford to carry any extra weight0 -

BUMP BECAUSE THESE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING! You all are an inspiration to this 5' 1.5" girlie (and you ALL know that 1/2 inch totally counts!!!) I hope to be able to share photos like these a year from now! On my way to a healthier me, I've let myself go and put myself last for too many years! I have been looking for some extra motivation to keep me going and seeing other shorties out there with awesome results is definitely motivating! Keep them coming!

starting at 254 lbs
as of july 28 at about 202lbs

I am 4 ft. 11 inches and currently 106 lbs. (in maintenance, so I keep losing/gaining the same 3-5 lbs.)
I went from a size 22/24 and a XXL top (sometimes even XXXL) to a size 5 and a Small/Extra Small top.
(the shirt I'm wearing in my "after" photo is actually a girls (not women's) size large top, so I shop in the kids section too, which is unbelievable for me!)
Amazing! Love this! I went and read your success story, too! You were built like I am, same size clothing that I wear now, too, so this one is truly inspiring for ME! Thanks for sharing!0 -
I am 4'11'' and weighing in at 135. My starting weight was 142 (before MFP). I am trying to get down to 115-120. I went my whole life being 95lbs and when I got pregnant that changed very quick. You women are very inspiring. Short people rock!0

thanks for explaining how you did this because just today the hubby was harshing on cardio and i have very good reasons for not being ready for anything else and feel i need that cardio to slim down. it's not like it tickles? geesh!0 -

I'm also 5'2 and starting at 153. I would love to get down to where you are now! How much did you lose when you were sticking with mostly cardio? I'm torn because I've read so much about what lifting can do for your body, but I want to get a few pounds off first.1 -
