I am wondering if any ladies here have had success with burning inner thigh fat and how. I am looking for some good exercises. I have seen some on youtube but would like to hear first hand reviews. Thanks.

No exercise is going to burn fat from a specific area. You can work your legs with squates, lunges, deadlifts, calf raises, etc., but those won't cause you to lose at specifically from that area. Eating at a caloric deficit = fat/weight loss. It is primarily genetics that determines where we lose the fat from and in what order.

Calorie burn makes fat come off. Any kind of calorie burn will do (from cardio, strength training) but you can't control where the fat comes off. Usually it comes off stubborn places last. I've seen my thigh fat decrease just with my regular exercises and then I do some inner thigh toning too so that when the fat is gone, they look just fine.

Barre is really good for that.
  • Of all the things that won't work spot reducing wont work the most.

sand paper, sulphuric acid, or a scalpel would probably get rid of it

it's all about a calorie deficit.

Sure, of course a deficit. But also I would be wanting to make sure I was strengthening all the muscles in the legs, gluts. I would also do some yoga style stretching. The barre suggestion above sounds good:)

I did a circuit last night that called for squats, instead of doing them with my feet facing forward, I turned them out so that my toes were pointing to the sides away from me. (think 2nd position in ballet) (youtube it) I am feeling it today! I plan on doing these everyday now.... its almost bathing suit weather!

What exercise have you been doing?
And, do you weight train as well?

It's like pilates but with elements of ballet. I go to a studio for it, but I think there are DVDs you could get to do it at home. The classes I do are divided into 5 parts with stretching in between. First there's core work that's done on the mat (plank-type exercises), followed by arm and shoulder exercises that are done standing with weights. Then we do thigh work at the barre, followed by glutes which can either be done at the barre or on the mat. We finish with ab exercises on the mat. The thigh exercises are really tough and I've seen the best results there.
