My favorite so far:
1/4 cup vanilla rice milk
1/2 cup light strawberry yogurt
1 tsp golden flax seeds
1 Tbsp cooked oats
1/4 of a cooked pear (I generally crockpot them overnight and toss them in the fridge for whenever)
3 icecubes0 -
2-3 big kale leaves, half an apple, 5 frozen strawberries, 2 cup water, 1 banana, and a 1/4 cup of greek yogurt. good meal replacement or side with a light dinner. Which is what I'm doing tonight...0

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Bio X Rocky Road)
1 Frozen banana
1/2 TBSP Natural peanut butter
1/2 TBSP Coconut oil
1 cup water (or skim milk)
handfull of ice and blend
Tastes like good chocolate ice cream. The shake bar at the gym calls it the "Velvet Elvis"!0 -
I'm in love with my Blendtec, and I'm excited to try these! Thanks for posting, everyone!0

handful of spinach
handful of kale
a couple of mint leaves
squeeze of fresh lemon juice
half a banana
1/2 cup of frozen sweet cherries or frozen peaches (really, you could do any fruit)
1 cup liquid (I do 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk and 1/2 cup of whatever fresh juice I have in the house)
I am a smoothie-a-day person, and this one is always my favorite. I make about 20 freezer bags at a time with everything except the liquid (spinach, kale, mint and lemon juice in blended ice cube form) and just pull one out every morning, add the liquid, blend, and go.
This is pretty much my go-to recipe to a tee...minus the lemon juice. Does that help with the bitterness of the kale? Great idea on making the little ice cubes0 -

my body doesnt handle milk well, so i usually just put a banana in my protein shake bottle, add frozen fruit, just enough orange juice to cover the fruit, and blend with my immersion (wand) blender... put my lid on my bottle and go...0

1/2 of a large avocado
2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries (I like using frozen because of the texture)
1/2 of a banana or you can even toss in a few blueberries (fresh or frozen) *optional*
1 cup of coconut water or regual water
1/2 cup of coconut milk or fat free/skim milk
**adding ice is optional... I find if you use frozen strawberries you dont need ice.
Mint Melon Mojito
1 cup of frozen green grapes
2 cups of watermelon
3-5 mint leaves0 -
