For the first time in many years I completed a 3 mile run averaging less than 10:30 per mile in fact my garmin recorded 10:23 per mile. At the begining of January I was averaging 12:15 per mile. I'm well chuffed

That's great! I'm kind of the same (except slower!) When I started 'running'--because I still have to walk/jog sometimes in the middle--in mid January I was at something close to 14 minute miles. Now I can run a 11:30 mile and finish close to three 13 min miles back to back.0
