I'd like to be in for 90 again in March. I know I said 90 this month and did 112, but lots of wild cards in March-think 90 may be a stretch.0

2/28- 6 miles. 2.5 hard, evil, painful miles, then things finally felt normal again. i guess it just took awhile to warm up. either that or maybe i was just tired from the previous 2-3 hours i spent building a snow fort with my munchkins! :happy:

Ran the Lake Effect Half Marathon yesterday, Liverpool, NY, 1:38:46, 7:33 avg pace. Got 2nd Overall Masters Female, 8th overall out of 331 women. 33 degrees F with a very cold 10-12 mph wind off the lake.

I agree, that is a great average pace for over 13.1 miles. I'm training to run close to that pace now, and it's a real struggle for me at mile 9 / 10 to maintain it. Congratulations, on your accomplishment!
Thanks! A lot of it is mental after the 10 mile point, just tell yourself only a 5K left. I actually have a harder time from 8 - 10, then when I know there's only 3 miles left, it seems easier.Keep training & I'm sure you'll get it!

5K race on Saturday. 3rd in AG, 6th overall in 19:18. Relatively flat out and back course through a business park. Wind in the face for half of it. 41° F an misty/foggy. Splits were 6:24, 6:17, 6:08, :31. PR by 19 seconds.

Hi, really late update from last week - sorry , 8.7 miles on 25th and 3.8 miles on 26th, (I'm gutted 1 mile off meeting target - i think!)
Can I be included in the March challenge too, 80 miles, I'm on holiday at easter for 2 weeks but will try to get out and running on the beach every other day.
1st march - 7.5 miles.
