Hey - 44, turning 45 shortly. Goal is to drop 30 in total, but it's easier to focus on shorter goals like the first 5 then getting below a number - for me 230, then 225, etc.0

I am going to be 47 in July. After 40, it is much harder to lose weight.

Hi there, I'm new to mfp. Just checking out the support available here. I'm 41 and put 4 stone on after stopping smoking 8 years ago and have never lost it. I turned 57 this past January. Have been trying for many years to get all this weight off and as you can see by my ticker I have a huge amount to lose. Some weeks I wonder if I will ever get there, especially when I have 2 to 3 weeks of no weight loss. I wondering if I should adjust my calorie intake again. But I do not know if I should go up or down.0

Turned 40 in November and really need to get rid of this baby fat, haha yeah right my baby is 8. Started walking last Friday and my boys come home everyday and say "did you walk today?" Can't wait to be able to play ball with them without feeling so tired all the time or just sitting and watching.0
