Wonderful victory for you and I love the post. We are accountable to only that which looks back at us in the mirror. Keep up the good work.0

I just told my husband that I would be a very happy woman when i could see my scarr!! Very exciting to know I am not the only one who will think of this as a milestone,, I can already see a long lost butterfly tat showing the tips of its wings and even that feels great. Congrats on your loss!0

What a lovely post. Truly inspiring. And very brave.
When I look in the mirror, my eyes are drawn to my belly also. I have a vertical scar a foot long on my abdomen, and where the skin is saggy, there is kind of a w shape hanging off the bottom of the scar. Not pretty! I think after having children we are never the same again, but we can learn to love ourselves, even naked!0 -
Thanks for posting, now I feel better in the knowledge it can shrink, after 4 kids I'd almost resigned myself to a pouch, now I will try harder to ensure it does go right down. xx0
-
I loved how you wrote that letter and I too have avoided my naked reflection. Hopefully soon I will be able to enjoy looking at it again.0

I would love to see my c-section scar, without the use of a mirror :grumble:0
