Gift for my wife

The fact that you're willing to do anything at all speaks volumes about your devotion to your wife.
Well done, sir.
Yeah, she's pretty much the most awesome person on the planet.
Awe! You don't hear a lot of husbands say such wonderful things about their wives... you must be newlyweds :laugh:0 -
A handwritten love letter. Seriously. The more effort put into the presentation, the better.
One time, I bought some parchment and wrote a girl a love letter on it, then I aged it in the oven to give it a yellowed look, burned the edges with a lighter, rolled it up, wrapped it in ribbon then sealed it with wax.
YES! Snail mail her a love letter! I do this for my guy on a regular basis as we live 1.5 hours apart and only see each other on weekends. Also, most girls love Pandora Charm bracelets if you're going for a gift :-) You could start a tradition of bringing her a new charm each time you go somewhere special together or when you're out of town0 -
Are you traveling how about a charm bracket an send her a little charm from every place you go to that has something to do with the place or get charms that means so thing to you two .. Date of annivsay ,birthday, shoes ECt x

AMAZING! Just flipping amazing! I don't have a Pandora bracelet, but I am truly not a bracelet person. I recently discovered Origami Owl which is lockets. My locket has a wedding ring and 4 birthstones in it. It tells me MY own story. 4 kids and a spouse.... You can private message me for more info on that one!0 -
a spa certificate, maybe? If you have children, maybe arrange a sitter for a girls night for her?
I like the sitter idea, get the sitter and then maybe organize a surprise spa date with her best friend...
This is a great idea!!!0 -
Money to go shopping.0

Something hand written would be really nice and personal. Or maybe a video of yourself and whatever you wanna say to her cuz you miss her.Doesn't have to be anything real expensive. Something personal is the nicest.0

Does she like a particular type of animal? If so, find a really cute plush one and send it do her with a love note.

edible arrangements, followed by edible panties. Works like a charm.0

Yes, also include a hand written love letter professing your most deep admiration and love for her.0
-
Order her favorite take out dish for her and have a bottle of wine and flowers delivered and have a skype date that's what I would want0

Money to go shopping.
This works too.0 -
A card with exactly what you said....I miss you.
Adding what you said about how she's pretty much the most awesome person on the planet wouldn't be bad, either!
You miss her. So tell her.
I'd want that a million times more than a gift card somwhere. We can get "things" for ourselves. What we can't always get is your telling us how you feel.
So sweet, by the way. Whatever you decide to do, it will be great because it will be the gesture that will mean the most to her.0 -

Cute, this would work if you didn't want to spend a TON of money!0 -
Do something creative man.
Send her a card with an "I love you" message and some cool instructions on it, eg "To receive the gift I brought you, you must do some thinking. Open your computer, go to Google mail (or Hotmail etc) and log in with this email and password (choose whatever email/password you want). In your inbox, have an email with your favourite quotes or weddings vows or whatever. Leave further instructions in the email, eg log into Facebook with the same email and password. And on Facebook have a bunch of your favourite pictures together or something and leave a message on the wall with further instructions, eg go to YouTube and log in with the same email and password and have watch the favourite video. And on YouTube have the video be something you both love, eg a song or film trailer etc. Then tell her (from the same Facebook post) to go back to the email but this time go to the Drafts or Junk section to receive a link to the actual gift you want to buy her and tell her to call you when she gets to the last message.
Why go through all that? Well, she's got all these great memories brought back to her and she'll be all "lovey dubby" and so whatever you buy her, she'll be happy.
Or you could just buy her jewellery.
REALLY awesome idea~ and very thoughtful0 -
massage! or make me dinner! and the whole thing too, don't cheat and ask me to check the burgers, or chop up carrots.0

This too... and I must say - husbands like you are rare (and when we find them, we hold tight) Congrats!!!! (been with mine for 15 years and love him more every day b/c he does stuff like this for me)0 -
I like the video idea too. Make it candid, dont keep restarting because you feel embarrassed or stumble over words. That helps make it more cute.0

OP, I just remembered this:

Do as you will with it.0 -
So every girl is different. Most like love letters, flowers, candy, spa days, others only your time and attention will do. You have to carefully think about what made her fall for you to begin with. Did you shower her with thoughtful gifts? Did you drive 6hrs just to see her for a day? Did you text her a hundred times a day? Did you spend hours on the phone? If you can find what made her fall in love with you, you will have a place to start with for what to do to show her you are still in love with her.0

How about a d1ck in a box?0

Thanks for all the ideas...
I guess we could be considered newlyweds, we will have been married 6 years this July.0 -
Can you draw? If so, sketch something for her. Sing? Record yourself singing a love song.
Play to your strengths man. Think about what she loves about you.
Wow! you have some awesome ideas0 -

Good idea, but I'm working 12 hour shifts overnight, and in the middle of finals week in school, and I'm on the road in a hotel...
So just modify the idea? Don't bother with the aging. Get some really nice stationary, write her a love letter in your BEST cursive, roll it up, tie a ribbon around it, then send it to her. Remind her of the first time you fell in love with her. I'm sure that you have plenty of inside love jokes from the beginning of your relationship that will make her melt when you remind her of them.
Listen to this man, he is very wise. *nods* I still have the valentine my husband gave me in high school, still look at it every once in awhile, too. And that was back in 1984.0
