I always liked Kadren or Kegan (long e) for a boy and Kimberly or Kahnor (sounds like Conner) for a girl

I took my step-daughter to see the movie "Beautiful Creatures" the other day, and there were two female characters whose names I loved...and suddenly found myself wishing for another baby girl just to be able to name her this. Not happening.

Anyway, the names were....Ridley and Lena. I thought Ridley was super cute.

Just don't pick something stupid...remember your kid will be stuck with that name for life.

Here's a good read for what NOT to name it.

    cooper -boy

    eden-girl or boy I guess
  • Girl: Autmn Rayn

LOVE this name for a little girl. :o) Autumn Raine is what I had picked out when I was pregnant, but turned out I was having a little boy.
And well, my boys names are the best and I see they haven't made the list yet:

    Phoenix
    Ryder
    Hunter

Easton is an awesome name too, but that will be for the next baby if he's a boy.

Congratulations!! And good luck with the names!

My daughter is Brielle Claire. Definitely a girl name but she won't be in a class with anyone with the same name (HOPEFULLY!) if she were a boy, she would have been either Quinn or Levi.

Congratulations! We went for not so common names with our boys - Brooks & Jonathan :-) Brooks is a family name and Jonathan means "a gift from God" in the Bible. {We definitely considered him "a gift" since he was conceived when we were NOT trying to have another baby & born 13 months after his brother.} Had our 2nd been a girl, the name would have been Joy-Anna.

I'm obsessed with the name Silas for a boy. That or Parker.

And before I picked Shaylie, I was gonna name my little girl either Leighton, Emma, or Fiona.
