I weigh myself every morning, but record it once a week. Do measurements every 3 weeks.0

Bah, scales... Considering I just shocked my body with a huge diet and exercise change-up, and considering my scale is probably not the best because it'll slide 1-2 pounds within a minute of being used... I still weigh myself every day just to see but I don't take it too seriously.0

I try to hold out and weigh myself every week rather than daily...cause the number on the scale sets my mood for the day...But I do not weigh myself 5 days before "my Friend" or during it...0

Back when I had a working scale in the bathroom, I'd weigh in every morning before showering. These days I just weigh in once or twice a week pre-breakfast.0

I would not weigh everyday. I have been doing that for the last week and I have been calorie counting and exercising and it goes up and down everyday. It is really disappointing to see my weight going up after one day so I have made an agreement with myself to weigh myself once every week.0

Weigh every morning when I get up but only log it once a week. This keeps me on track with my eating & workouts ( or at least I hope so)0

Studies show that dieters who weigh themselves regularly see better results. When checking weight every day, you are facing the scale. It keeps you accountable. If you make it a habit to write down your weight every day, you can easily track your progress from day to day and week to week.
Following your weight fluctuations can be quite entertaining. A cup of water weighs half a pound. Undigested food weighs too. Fluid retention, from say too much sodium, is a big factor in scale fluctuations and can vary based on what you consume at different times. Your bowel movements subsequently may not run like a German train schedule.
Using a reliable scale, note any such fluctuations of the major sort, often not long after you wake up. There's much predictable stuff within your control, including everyday perspiration and respiration, that you can figure out. And when you can't, your doctor likely can. So enjoy!0 -
I weigh everyday caus well I can. But I only count the Friday weigh ins0

I weigh in every Sat AM to keep me on track for the weekend, and then again on Weds. AM to see how my week is going. That one helps give me a needed push if I haven't seen a change since Sat. And if I have seen progress.....yeah for me!! Daily fluctuations would make me a bit crazy if I stepped on the scale every single morning,0

Well I take sneak peaks many times a week, but I record my weight once a week on Tuesdays mornings.0

i weigh every three days0

I weigh everyday, first thing in the am but I don't get upset if my weight is up. I usually go up as much as 3 lbs then it starts falling again and plummets to a 1.5 or 2 lbs loss then back up and the cycle repeats. I now know the cycle so I am ok with it.0

I weigh and record once a month. I'm trying to lose weight very gradually (1/2 lb per week or up to .8 of a lb).... your weight can fluctuate 0-3 pounds a day... so what does daily weighing tell you? You ate something salty and retained water? you actually ate 3500 calories over TDEE and gained a pound?
I'm in the beginning stages of this journey and do not expect to correct the situation over night. I'm trying to learn to eat better and move more... and I'll just wait to see what happens. However, I do have goals... and I have written them down on the calendar (on the first day of each month).... I have listed the weight is what I hope to weigh on that date. So far so good....0 -
I used to do it twice a day (morning and evening). Now I don't have a scale, so I only do it when I visit my parents' house (once or twice a month).0

I step on a scale 2 to 3 mornings a week. It helps me track weight fluxuations during my cycle - yay lady parts! However I only record the weight from Friday when I workout with my trainer. I see him once a week and he checks my weight and measures my body fat percentage.0

Monday morning, every week. I occasionally get curious and hop on the scale at other times as well, but not usually.0

Yeah, I only log once a week, or if there is a noticeable change in weight.0
