    I'd say it means he's at least 70. I can't imagine why anyone younger would think they should refer to a female as "girlie".

    When a man says "fine" - he means fine.
    When a woman says "fine" - it means something isn't fine and you have to guess what it is.

    So "hey girlie" probably means "hello".

    girlie- a cutsey term for a female

    put them together, and "hey girlie" therefore means, "hi, i was envisioning a series of events that you and i could participate in that would result in you coming to my apartment and disrobing in my bedroom, so i thought i would text you and get the ball rolling".

    i know.... the txt messaging speak is really hard to decipher sometimes.

    :laugh: This reminded me of the "Can I Have Your Number?" skit...

    "Could I please receive the secret code that if entered telephonically will pass me through to you, which means it will be your beautiful *kitten* number????" IDK, it just popped in my head....
