    NO PANTS

    That, exactly.

I think yoga pants are ok IF you can pull them off, I have seen some people in them that make me want to pour bleach in my eyes, some things can just not be UNSEEN.

the worst are when they insist on wearing them, even when they know they shouldn't

I rather see them in genuine yoga pants than nude color LEGGINGS (spandex pants):indifferent:

So you're saying this is a bad idea for some reason...

At least there are no panty lines!

Wouldn't sweat pants be kind of gross with all the sweat leaching out and old salt stains showin

Yoga pants all the way! They are so darn comfortable and in college literally every girl wears yoga pants and a north face every day.

What? No. Lol. For one thing, I guess it depends on how much you sweat and for another thing you wash them (just like any other pair of pants). Sweat pants are the same as any other pair of pants (if they are nicely made and you wash them and care for them). I think yoga pants would be more likely to cause someone to sweat because they are tighter and made out of water resistant type of materials (sometimes). But, I like both. I only like sweat pants if they are a nice pair of pants in sweat pant material (not just some old elastic waist band, frumpy type). But perhaps this was a joke that the sweat pants actually sweat, or something like that (maybe I missed the joke).

In England we prefer not to wear our pants in public at all, no matter whether they are designed for yoga or sweating.... I think you should all try on a pair of trousers.

before I got pregnant...neither. Now with my six month old, I really do not care what I wear to run errands as long I'm covered. Yoga pants feel the most comfortable though.

Hahaha.. I say that you should wear whatever the fckk you wanna wear and dont give a *kitten* about what anyone thinks is "acceptable". Plus, if youre wearing something stupid out in public, it gives other people something to be entertained with. Its a win, win! Hahaha. Seriously though, I have fat legs and a fat *kitten* and I'll wear either with no fckks given about what anyone thinks. :drinker:

PurpleIris --you look really great in your Yoga Pants/ Sweat Pants.

To everyone here i say, this is entirely up to you, wear yoga pants, sweatpants or whatever you want to do your errands after leaving from or going to the gym.

Honestly, for me, i usually change b4 doing any running around and my "rear"looks just fine in gym clothes.

*********So yes, personal choice, is the way 2 go!

I'm one of those people who probably shouldn't be wearing them outside of the gym, but I do.

I often shop for groceries on the way home from the gym, I consider it my 'cool down'

If you wanna wear yoga pants for every single thing that you do all day everyday then that is okay with me and probably most guys.

Lies! Your derriere looks great in your yoga pants.

Quite a bit of the time I have a stop or two (or *shock!* three) on the way home from the gym. I really don't care if I "shouldn't" be wearing them. Besides, I'm sure that I am smelly enough by that point that no one will even notice what I look like in my yoga pants.

Usually if I'm running errands I will put on jeans, unless I'm having a blah day and then I will wear my yoga pants. I live in yoga pants when I'm at home though!
  • Until this past year I had never worn yoga pants and hated sweatpants. I now own several pairs of yoga pants and LOVE them. I have a few pair that are wider at the bottom and have even been able to wear them to work, where we are business casual. I just pair them with a nice cotton blouse that is long enough to cover the waistband. At home I probably wear my yoga pant 90% of the time that it isn't warm enough for wearing shorts.

I dislike the stiffness of denim and it is difficult to find jeans that fit well in the waist AND the rest of my body. My problem with jeans is that to get them to fit in the hips they are too large in the waist. Sometimes I also have issues with the length since I am taller.

I think yoga pants are more acceptable than sweatpants for wearing out in public because they (are supposed to) accentuate the body, where sweatpants hide your shape. I think my *kitten* looks pretty damn good in yoga pants but I'm not going to post a pic since I can't compare to the ones already posted.
