I cook with dairy milk, but don't really care for it to just drink, so I use soy milk in protein shakes or overnight oats.0

I drink 2%, usually with my afternoon snack, easy 10g of protein!0
-
yep - skim milk.
really cold, in a glass glass - mmmmmm.0 -
I use full cream organic biodynamic cows milk. Tastes the best and is the healthiest. It has more vitamin A & D than lower fat milk.0

I don't drink milk at all but if I do it's almond milk and sometimes soy (I know, I know)
But I do bake with regular, full fat milk.0 -
I have been drinking it all my life but cut back a lot since I started losing weight.....carbs are high in cow's milk. I miss drinking more of it.0

I drink cow milk! I don't like the taste of almond and rice milk and I'm soy intolerant so soy milk is a no-no.0

I drink organic whole cow milk. Its an amazing drink!0

I noticed, as I have been snooping people's food diaries, that most drink alternative milk sources, like almond or soy. I myself don't drink cow's milk, as I'm lactose sensitive, but what about others? Does anyone drink cow milk anymore? Is it taboo or not trendy anymore? Is it unhealthy? What about organic cow milk? I'd love to hear your reasons? And want to hear from those who drink cow milk!
It's not "trendy" is a pretty good answer actually haha.
I drink almond milk because I think it tastes better. Especially vanilla-coconut almond milk.
But I get skim cow's milk in my iced coffee0 -
I drink 1% cow milk.0
-
Yup. Right from the teats.0

Sure. I drink both whole cow's milk and almond milk. Cow milk is awesome with chocolate
I think a lot of people drink almond milk and other alternatives because it's lower calorie. Also, a surprising amount of people are lactose sensitive. And then there are people following eating plans like paleo eating, where you cut out dairy products.0 -
I personally don't drink cows milk...intolerant... I do use almond milk and it's shelf stable until you open it, I don't drink soy milk and for all the men out there, might want to read this...

It's just what's works for you...0 -
I drink cow's milk. I have no plans to change that. :drinker:0

Count me in as another cow's milk drinker. So very nutritious! Fabulous source of protein. I do view it as a "snack" though, just due to caloric content. I refuse to drink skim.
I also use 18% cream in my coffee daily mmm - favourite 70 calories of the day, and I'm still losing weight!0 -
I try to limit my inatke of dairy due to the hormones in it, so have started drinking almond milk. Love it! (And super low in cals, too!) Or i'll have soy in a latte or chai if i'm out and about.
(I have PCOS, which means my hormones are screwed enough on their own, hence me wanting to avoid external sources of them!)
But i'll still use dairy milk in coffee if i'm places that don't have soy, or I don't feel like drinking soy...

I drink almond milk, but still eat cheese, yogurt, ice cream, all the other regular dairy. When I first switched it was honestly bc it was trendy, what every one was doing. The fact that it is only 40 calories helped. Now I love it! I still drink a glass of regular milk sometimes.0

Some people are lactose intolerant, some people want to get on the trendy health nut bandwagon, I believe some people drink it because it has less calories than cow's milk.
I drink cow's milk...I've tried soy milk and not really liked it, but haven't tried other types of milk yet.0 -
The only milk I drink is cow milk. I've never tried anything else, but I'd be open to.0

I hate cow's milk. I drink almond and soy because it's the only way I can get enough calcium. The bonus is it's lower in calories. I was vegan when I was a teenager, and I think it just carried over into my omnivorous adult years too.0
