How do you feel about your S/O watching porn?

I'm down to watch it with my man. :glasses:
Anybody watch Dave's Old Porn? Lol. Throwback censored porn, but funny!0 -
My husband an I do not allow porn into our marriage. We look as marriage and sex as a Holy thing God has set apart between husband and wife and its to create oneness and intimacy between each other. We believe when Jesus said "if a man looks at a woman and even lusts after her in her heart he commits adultery.." (Obviously is works the other way around for women) it lets in sin or gives satan a foothold in our marriage that drives us apart instead of bringing us together like God intends. I knoe this will not be te popular answer but I wanted to add my 2 cents we are born again christians so I guess you could say its for moral reasons yea. I've seen porn and addiction to porn cause to many destroyed relationships...
Was there a point to your laughing at this? Did anyone else presenting their serious answer get laughed at?
Imagine what your sex life would be like if every time you wanted to see someone naked, wanted to get off, wanted to try something new... you did it with your spouse? Yeah, you'd have a lot more sex. That's kinda the idea here.0 -
I watch it for the stories. It's really upsetting how Jorge's not admired for his hard work and intellect by his mean boss lady.
And Johnny never seems to get an actual cash tip, even tho he always gets the pizza there on time! I only watch because I am waiting for Johnny to get his first tip.
He got in more than just the tip.0 -

I'm way beyond you in age...55yrs old...I watch porn sometimes....I have no problem with my guy watching it..either by himself or with me.
So not so sure it's as generational as you think..Or maybe I'm just more open than many my age.0 -
If my husband is watching porn, it means we're getting freaky later! Much of the time I watch it with him, but that's rare since we have no TV in our room and our teenagers stay up so late. Grr!0

arn't you the woman who said her BF dosn't find you sexy??
I can see there's a trend to your posts now..
Yeah, though last night he said if he doesn't look at my face it isn't a problem hahahah
A trend? Yes, in fact I have posted 2 whole threads that relate to sex in some way.
Damn me for finding human sexuality to be fascinating.0 -
I watch more porn than my man. He thinks it's cheating that I watch though.0

I'm glad to get some input from someone of a different age bracket.
I asked for input, and laughing at someone's personal decision to keep porn out of their life is JUST AS BAD as looking down on someone who enjoys it.
So play nice, people.0 -
Watch it togethor and make some togethor.

I'm down with porn. I watch, he watches, we watch together. we both have our preferences, which I think is natural.
for me, porn is only an issue if I'm being replaced by it, which in a past relationship, was the case. that sucked.0 -

hooray for porn! if it wasn"t for porn I would never get anything done! LOL As long as the porn is not of minors, bogging down our computer with viruses or to the point of addiction then I am cool with it.
I don"t mind a well done porn myself, ya know one that has good make up in the lower half, and not made up of a whole bunch of oral noises....blech!! to each their own.
You can check your spouses history but if they have the right software and are dillegent, then that does you no good, and how bout work people do (while I do not agree) (but understand if someone is watching them like a dog at home) look at porn at work, or on their phones. I personally would rather have my husband look at porn at home and tie one off while I am watching my show oblivious to the hapenings. than have him get fired for sneaking it in at work or what not. Plus I really don"t have the time to log in and check in on him...nope not worth it to me.0 -
Porn give people an unrealistic expectation of how soon a plumber will come out attend to you
I was literally laughing out loud to that.
I not only laughed out loud, I shared the comment with my husband. He laughed too. Love it! :drinker: :laugh:0 -

Agreed....yet another thing we have in common!0 -
When my husband and I first started dating, I was open and honest in the fact that I watched porn. He was okay with that and he showed me his porn. Honesty and trust are the foundation to any good healthy relationship. 5 years later, I still watch, he watches, we watch together and we have a great sexual relationship. However, I probably watch more than he does as I have a higher sex drive than him and well, you know, sometimes you just have to take care of business!
On the other side of the coin; in my previous marriage, my ex husband would hide porn and tell me that it was disgusting and that I shouldn't watch it as it was not natural and bad for our relationship! All the while he would sneak off into the bathroom with his magazines (this was before the internet and when porn was conveniently found on any mobile device). His comments always made me feel dirty and that there was something wrong with me because I liked it. :frown:
I'm very happy in the fact that my husband and I do not hide anything from each other and that we have a fantastic and healthy relationship with and without porn!
Edited to add - On the issue of age, I'm 45. So I think it has more to do with a person's thoughts and views rather than age, maybe? Or maybe the fact that I still feel like I'm in my twenties! heh0 -
It seems like there's always some sort of porn open on one of my fiance's tabs. He doesn't go out of his way to hide it, but he does act embarrassed if I happen to see it, even though he knows I'm ok with it. I always laugh if he's trying to show me some interesting article he found or work by his favorite photojournalists, and he accidentally clicks on the porn tab instead. When he's taking his computer to a coffee shop, on campus, or to a professional meeting, I always jokingly remind him to close all of his porn first.
Honestly, if I were looking to date a guy, I'd automatically rule out any guy who said he didn't ever watch porn. Either he's insecure and lying, or he's too much of a prude for my taste.0 -

If you don't agree, that's fine, but to respond with laughter is just rude.
As for me, porn is a pretty common thing in our house. We both watch it, sometimes together. It gets old fast though and I'm really picky when it comes to porn. I'm a bit of a porn snob I guess you could say..0 -

It bothers me more that my boyfriend watches Two and a Half Men. Now, that's offensive.
That would be a deal breaker for me.0 -

I told him that every time I hear him laugh while watching it, I love him a little less. He seems okay with it.0 -

I love the fact that he watches it! I watch it more than he does actually... does that make me addicted? Um...probably0
-
I don't mind if he watches porn. I know everything in his collection (minus his laptop, but I'm not sure I even want to know, that's his business). As long as he keeps his porn viewing to when he's alone in the house or with me, I'm totally fine with it. I'm guilty of it as well. I wouldn't want my porn time taken away, so I let him have his. As long as they're still sleeping with you regularly, I see no issue at all.0

Everyone watches porn. Well, maybe not EVERYONE. But everyone that I know does. There's nothing wrong with it in my book. I am single atm, but when I do have a s/o, the subject of whether I am "okay" with them watching porn doesn't even really come up. I just know they watch it because, well...they're a guy. Sometimes we'd watch it together. It's just...that's just how things are. Lol.0

I don't know what that means. :sad:0
