OK. I know it's not my normal forte, but I have a serious question for people. This is not a troll thread. ^Look where I posted it?. I am just curious if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what can you do about it.
So, here is my situation. Over the last couple of weeks, I have found that my nipples have become extremely sensitive. It 's usually after a workout, but not necessarily exclusively. It's so painful it's almost unbearable. I can't tolerate the chafing I feel from my shirt rubbing over them. The water in the hot tub burns so bad. The steamroom is practically intolerable.

damnit I thought someone had the same problem as me :P
anyway, I saw that runners put some kind of tape over their nips, maybe that could help you too?0 -
Funny, I thought you were talking about the candy- I love NIPS!0
-
Either put band aids over them or put body glide or Vaseline on them.0

You may need to look at the material your shirts are made out of. If they are cotton and you sweat a lot, they will get very irritated.
Try a wicking material.
If that does not work, you may need to put band aids over them0 -

They seriously make stuff like that? What's it called?0 -
Tape sounds painful coming off. I think I may try the band-aids.0

I thought this was about nips showing through tops after a strenuous set at the gym. Some girls at my gym pose serious hazards to the ocular cavities.0

It's called body glide. You can get it at a sporting goods store. It looks like deodorant but it's not. Works awesome
Round bandaids work too. My husband has the same problem when he runs.0 -
Is this issue faced only by ladies or men can also have this problem!0

Ladies are LESS likely to have this issue because we wear sports bras that can usually fix the issue.0 -
Look at Body Glide.0

They make Body Glide. That may work for you.0 -
My right one is bothering me for last 3 days since I have done elliptical and walking:blushing:0

Could it be hormonal?0

Definitely look for Body Glide. I got it at ****'s Sporting Goods. It's been a life saver on my long runs.0

I used to have the same problem but it went away as soon as I stopped going to the gym and just got fat on the couch. One of the best decisions I've made because it was painful.0

this is probably joggers nipple which is very common for male trail / long distance runners.
I put body glide on my nipples for all runs over 5 miles. (my running buddy and I call it "nipping up")
If you look on amazon there are also special little adhesive things called nip guards.0 -
AH my nipples they hurt! They hurt when I twist them!!!

Monistat has an anti-chaffing cream...going to the women's personal care section is better than sore nips!0
