I heard it's good to switch up your apples, aka not eat the same one all the time
Dunno if that's accurate, but i think i'll look it up0 -

I'm surprised there aren't more votes for Fuji; it's a terrific apple. Years ago I was a fan of Red or Golden Delicious, but nowadays they are almost without taste. They became so disappointing that I haven't bought one in years; felt it'd be a waste of money. Fujis are bright, crisp, and delicious and are great out-of-hand or to cook with. I'd also be surprised to see there's much nutritional difference among varieties.0

cortland 4 ever
Yay cortland. I also like Jonagold(cross between golden delicious and Jonathan). As for your nutrition question I don't believe there is a big enough difference to speculate. Your delicious tend to be a sweeter apple tna your baking apples. Deduction they might have a slightly higher sugar level but not enough to raise your eyebrows over.0 -

The apples from Oz !!!0 -
Pink lady, Braeburn or Cox... maybe a Gala... and to think I only used to eat Golden delicious.. Just wish apples hadn't gone crazy in price, £2 for 4..... that's expensive!0

Don't apples generally have the same nutritional value?
My favorite apples are Pink Lady, hands down. After that comes Jazz, Fuji, the ones from the tree in our garden (I have no idea what kind they are) and Golden Delicious, in that order. All other apples I've tried lie somewhere beneath these on my big metaphorical list of apples.0 -
Royal Gala or Empire are my fav. Golden delicious & Ida red are nummy too.0

My fiance brought back some honeycrisps from his mom's place in Vermont. I'm an apple lover, but I still couldn't fathom how an apple could taste THAT awesomely good.0 -
Ambrosia, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady and Kiku....sweet and juicy0

Definately Pink Lady or Granny Smith, although the apples I used to get from MAINE when I was little seemed to be the best but I don't know what kind they were. I just know we could find them anywhere along the roads where there were orchards.0

Apples were never my favorite fruit until I happened upon Honeycrisp. YUMMY. Then, when they were out of season (at least I couldn't find them locally), I happened upon Pink Lady. YUMMY, too! Don't really care for any of the others, except on occasion a crisp, tart Granny Smith will hit the spot.0
