:flowerforyou: Do you need a weekend boost? I sure do! Many times the weekend is a challenge to get through and we end up undoing everything we worked so hard for through the week. Take the Skinny Saturday Challenge and finish your weekend with a smile on your face! :bigsmile: Here's what it entalis:

Double your exercise~
Double your water intake (within healthy limits)~ :drinker: :drinker:
Double your willpower to stop eating after dinner and log every tidbit that crosses those lips!
Just let us know now if you are in....then check in and out when you can tomorrow to let us know how it is going and encourage someone else. Grab a buddy and make the c ommitment! There is power in numbers....I know one thing for sure.....

I'm in also I haven't been able to workout this week much and I've been stuck at 205lbs for the last 2 weeks. I will do this challenge and hopefully Monday I will be down a pound. GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!0

I'm in! I've continued to eat well on the weekends but haven't been putting in any cardio and certainly haven't been getting the right amount of water. I was on the fence about attending a Zumba class in the morning (for the first time) but now I'm definitely going to do it!0

We have a Father's Day luncheon planned at a "family style" restaurant! Talk about a challenge.:frown: I plan on burning cals before, peeling the skin off of that yummy chicken and skipping the rolls and WHITE GRAVY!!!! :grumble: I am determined and knowing I have buddies checking on me will keep me accountable. Does anyone else have Father's Day celebrations that may pose problems this weekend? What is your gameplan on getting through it? "Failing to plan is planning to fail"...somebody important said that! :laugh:

I am in again! Love the Skinny Challenges! Tomorrow I'm going to dust off my roller blades & go for a spin! Its been at least 6 or 7 years since I used them! I'm hoping its just like riding a bike.... LOL :laugh:

I am off and running....or walking! :laugh: I have had raisin bran w/skim for breakfast and am ready to start swigging the water! :drinker: I am getting a workout in before a Father's Day Luncheon with my 3 siblings and parents. (And a few of our grown kids.) I already planned what I will eat and logged it in so I will stay in control. I am shooting for portion control today! :bigsmile:

I started with some grape nuts and skim milk for breakfast. After drinking 24 oz of water already, I'm getting ready to head out to Zumba! The rest of the day and weekend will just be drink drink drink and thesis thesis thesis.0

I am in! I just started my diet yesterday (I know, who starts on a Friday?), and my boyfriend's brother and his family are in town. So far, I have been doing ok with my caloric intake, and have been downing that H20! Also, I got up before my kids did so I could get in some cardio this morning. My biggest worry is about tonight when we get together for dinner...:ohwell:0

Hi all! Well my Skinny Saturday started out with Pilates this morning, then I did some cleaning. Finally I dusted off my roller blades & went down by the river for a "roll". (I live by the Mississippi so there is an awesome bike path on both sides.) However....since my feet grew & I had to get new tennis shoes this week, apparently that goes for roller blades too. I did cram my feet in them & went for about a mile & a half. Wish that they weren't so tight on my feet 'cause I could have went for quite a while! It IS just like riding a bike! :laugh: Oh well I had fun till my feet couldn't stand it any more. Guess I'll give them to my neice!
When I came home I got to puppy sit for my parents puppy (hence the one in my pic). So Walter (the bulldog) and I just hung out and played. Is there a calorie burn for puppy playing? :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
It wasn't quite the Skinny Saturday I had hoped for due to the rollerblades not fitting, but it went well nonetheless.

My best friend was in from out of town Saturday and I ended up pushing my bike ride to Sunday. Not a very skinny saturday, as there was a cookout... burgers, hot dogs, drinks I made up for it today though. Went riding with 2 friends of mine who are Ironman triathletes. They made me work for every bit of a 33 mile ride today :laugh: Lots of rolling hills and some pretty good climbing. :noway: They kicked my butt!!!:laugh: We've decided to make this a weekly ride and keep adding miles to eventually do 100m. Can't wait til I can do that!! :bigsmile:

I'm tweeking mine to be a Skinny Sunday since that's the day that I have the most problems with.
For my Sinny Sunday I went on a five -mile hike with the family and my friend and his girls. It was great! I packed a healthy picnic lunch of an apple, cranberry chicken salad, some watermelon, green tea, a few chips and some wheat rolls.
I did splurge on a small cup of gelato. It was deelishus!
Now I have to have my dinner.
Next week I plan on FINALLY making it to the swing dance my hubby and I have been trying to make a go of.
For the past three weeks we have been hiking different trails and I have seen the difference in my endurance and my asthma.

Thanks for the 'KUDOS', Robin. :drinker: I'm not really sure what got into me today, but I just couldn't stop at 33 miles today. I went for another 23 mile ride this evening. 56 miles is a personal best for me.:bigsmile: I'll pay for that tomorrow :laugh:
