    I am a mother and I play trombone.
    Also, in college, I was a music major whose primary instrument was trombone and a lot of my friends called me "Mama T." (T is my first initial).

    mines boring......a nickname my cousin gave me when we were little because she couldn't say my full name (samantha). i was 18 when i first started using it as a username so i just keep it. makes people think im still young =]

    2 of my 3 bothers call me Rex... and have for years ... its short for T-rex because I have tiny little arms... well I am a tiny little person so my arms are the right size for my height but they always tease me when I ask for help getting things I can't reach. Add to that one day I was trying to reach something and couldnt because my head got in the way and I sat there struggling for 15 mintues and when the one asked me waht was going on I replied "cannot reach... I have a big head and little arms!"

    After that every reason for my needing their help was always "yeah yeah because your like a t-rex"... it is now my twitter name, my blog name, and my MFP user name.

    Pretty simple. There was this one time at band camp in the Himalayas....

    I love mountain bike riding and my dream bike is a Yeti.

    My username is based on the band from the Muppet Show named Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. (remember Animal?!) I was raised by hippie parents so naturally that was my favorite show :wink: When i used to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero that was the gaming nickname i came up with and it's stuck ever since.

    Part of the way into my journey I decided that I wanted to blow about the process, and eventually transition into doing work and having a website to support and motivate others. Since I am always amazed at what an efficient machine the body is, I named my website www.mybody-mymachine.com. My facebook page, user name, instagram, twitter, etc are all interrelated. Instagram and twitter are actually @machinedbody. I like the concept of that also based on this definition of machined:

    a process in which a piece of raw material is cut into a desired final shape and size by a controlled material-removal process

    First college ice-breaker event: We were told we were attending a picnic and were asked to state our name and something we were bringing to the picnic that started with the same letter as our first name. I said "I'm Tom and I'm bringing tomatoes." I still remember the girl I paired up with. She was "Sue" who was bringing "salt".
