Ill let you know when it happens  :sad:0

I've lost 75 lbs and some people still haven't noticed0
-
One person at work has noticed so far... that was at 45lbs... :grumble:0

I started getting lots of comments when I was about 1/2 way to my goal... which was around the 20 lb. mark.
Edited to add: Weight is such a sensitive subject.... I think people are sometimes hesitant to say much. They may be jealous, or they might just be aware that a comment might imply that they thought you NEEDED to lose weight and don't want to offend you. My hubby has noticed my loss, but hasn't said a whole lot since his love for me is not based on my weight. I am happy about that )0 -
Some of my friends noticed it at 20lbs.. but none of my closest friends has yet to notice which is a bit discouraging but that's how it is.0

It took 41 pounds before anyone noticed... bcuz I was wearing baggy boxy clothes before the weight loss so I looked the same0
-
I was never that big to begin with, but I would say it took about 15lbs before I got unsolicited compliments on my weight.0
-
27 pounds and not one soul noticed0
-
For me, it was also about 15-20lbs. I started right under 160lbs & am 5'4".0
-
For me after about 5lbs, because a lot came off my face and collar bone area so you could see it. But now I'm 10lbs down, I ran into a friend I hadn't seen for a year and she straight away said that I looked much thinner.0

47 lbs0

Maybe it's more of a percentage of weight than a number of pounds. I haven't had anyone notice yet, but I'm going to visit my parents at Easter and should be down 20 by then. We'll see if they notice.0

not many people have noticed yet only close family0
-
for ppl that didnt c me in a while, it was probably 7-8 pounds0

I've been doing insanity for 4 weeks, dieting for 6, lost 4 inches on my waist, and still haven't gotten any comments- although I am the boss at my workplace so I wonder if people feel awkward? It is really defeating, though, when people ask me if 'I've noticed any difference' since starting Insanity... um, yeah, I have... I'm not down a size yet, just baggy in places, so maybe a little longer. It really does make it harder!0

My mom noticed at 10lbs but no one else have said anything but as soon as my husband lost 7lbs without trying everyone thought he was so skinny even with him gaining it all back0
-
After about 9 lbs. My hairstylist mentioned it. She noticed my face seemed thinner. It made me very happy. :-)0
-
It wasn't the first comment, but at about 39-40 pounds lost I had someone ask if I was sick.0
-
15-20 lbs..for me!0

Wow, I feel bad. I didn't have people start noticing until I lost 170 lbs.0

Interestingly enough- I went out in the front office after the day was over and two people both asked how much weight I had lost, saying it was 'very noticeable'! I guess they got my telepathic messages begging for a complement0 -
Been disappointing that I've lost 26 since November 1st and not really been noticed. Haven't seen family since before Christmas but will be seeing them for Easter so hope they can tell. Friend was gone for 3.5 months and she noticed when seeing me for the first time last weekend. For the most part it was just seeing coworkers but they see you all the time so it is harder to notice. I've been pulling out pants that didn't fit for a while as the pounds have been coming off instead of buying new clothes (yet anyway). Put on one of the bigger pairs (but not the biggest) and my son said last night "wow, that is impressive actually".0

Around the 15 pound mark people at work started noticing. Not many but a few.....I really can't tell much of a difference and i've lost nearly 20 pounds....I was wondering what the magic number would be before it became obvious to everyone.0
-
My friend said I looked fitter just after I'd lost 4 pounds. I didn't think anyone would notice so soon, but I don't have that much to lose anyway, just around 10 pounds, so perhaps it's easier spot.0

About 2 years ago, I went from 155lbs to 132 lbs, and not a single person noticed.0
-
My mother can tell with just a pound or two difference. The rest of my immediate family notices at 5 pounds gain or loss. A little weight goes a long way on my frame =/. Everyone else has the impression I'm just naturally thin...*sigh*0
-
As you say, everyone's different. It does make sense to go by % rather than pounds, kg or stones. When you've lost about 5% of your original weight, most people can tell about themselves, at about 10% friends, relatives and observant people notice, takes more like 15-20% for people who know you casually... although some will still not say anything because it can be a touchy subject.0

^^ Same here0 -
10lbs. I am 5'2"ish, so 10lbs looks like a lot on my smaller frame.0
