I thought for sure it was chips, but haven't craved or touched them since I started... Bread has proven to be a struggle as I was also a sandwich, toast, etc person.

chips! I have found some that actually have nutritional value like sweet potato ships, kale. But a good ol' sour cream and cheddar ruffles dipped in french onion dip..mmmm i will devour the entire bag. We can't buy chips and have them in the house. When we do we buy one bag and my husband actually puts them in a bowl and that's it. I will try to get more but he is like the whisper and talks me down...lol
  • Cheese, red wine, and chips! Way more into salty, savory foods than sugar. I dark chocolate candy bar (like Endangered Species) can last 2 weeks as long as my kids don't find it.

Oh where to start!!!! McChickens, Blizzards, potatoes (all and any), anything bite sized and lying around, bread, pasta, ground beef, holy cow.... It's no wonder why I'm fat. Brownies. OMG. CHEESECAKE SWIRL BROWNIES. Cheese. Summer Sausage (beef). Cheese. Ummm... Cheese. on everything.

Ok - but now I've been one month on clean eating - no red meat, only fresh fruits and veggies, whole wheat breads only, no potatoes, very little rice, etc etc. I've been working hard, and my cravings are changing. Once a week my hubs and I go out to eat, and make it a day out without binging. (Is that how we spell that?)

It's only been a month, and my cravings are changing already, and making healthier decisions is becoming much easier. But when I haven't shopped lately, and quick to grab celery/apples, etc aren't available, my cravings go insane. Thank heavens I'm a half hour drive from any fast food.

  • Oh man, I have more than one!

    Keebler Soft Batch Cookies
Cadbury Creme Eggs (right around this time, Easter-OMG, I want one soooo bad)
    Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough
    Hershey Hugs
    Lindt White Chocolate
Sees Candy (anything other than the nutty kind)
Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mints AND the Samosas

Best remedy-none of these are in the house. And I eat protein bars, which take care of my sweet craving...

PB&J and cereal...even though I use sugar free jelly and healthy life bread as well as skim milk for the cereal. The issue is not the type of food it is that I end up going overboard on the amount of it.

Cupcakes and soft chocolate chip cookies are my drug for sure. Though I do love sweet potato fries and chipotle dip at Carls Jr as well. I have been good for the most part but the cookies are proving to be an issue. Damn Costco! Why must you tempt me with your delicious snacks and treats?

Anything in the candy dish at work. The same candy from the vending machine is not a problem; it is self-limiting on how much I will eat. But the candy dish? Ugh, I will eat it all.
