I can't do the protein shakes ... well, not until I find one that I can tolerate.
Instead, I eat chicken breast or cottage cheese. Like mamatrombone, I like with mandarin oranges.0 -
Chocolate milk!!!!! and some almonds or walnuts...0

I workout at 7 pm and afterwards I am hungry. I was told the best thing to consume after a workout was a protein shake. Is this the best option? What do you guy eat?0

Option 1: Protein powder, 1/2 banana, silk almond.
Option 2: Oats, Silk Almond and Protein powder. This can either be cooked (hot chocolate porridge) or refrigerated the night before (cold overnight oats).
Option 3: 1 whole wheat bread toast, omelette, coffee.
I usually rotate with these 3 options. ^^,0 -

I work out in the evening, so after I work out, I'm eating a meal lol.0

An apple. Or sometimes I eat nothing after working out. It really depends on how intense my workout session is.0

I have water, protein bar, protein shake, or lunch/dinner if its time appropriate. Occasionally instead -- an apple or banana with peanut butter. :drinker:0

Typically nothing, at least not RIGHT after I work out. I either feel queasy or just not hungry. I don't do particularly intense workouts, I just walk a lot and the calories burned adds up...so I just continue about my day and eat at meal times. I don't really see much of a reason to eat when I'm not hungry.0
