Ok this may sound crazy but its healthy and delicious! (At least for me cos I love chinese food)
50g of rolled scottish porridge/oatmeal
200ml of unsweeted almond milk
2 large boiled egg whites
1-3 tblsp soy sauce
1 tsp of powered ginger
Pinch of chilli powder
Handful of spring onions (chopped)
Sprig of coriander/cilantro to garnish
As for something a bit sweeter and more mainstream (more treat-ish)
50g rolled scottish oats
200 ml hazelnut milk
2 tblspoons nutella
1 tblspoon of peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
Garnish with a sprinkling of dark chocolate chips0 -

I mix up my breakfasts. Oatmeal is not so bad. Every once in a while for me. I like smoothies, maybe a hard boiled egg, vegetarian breakfast burrito or a meal replacement bar with coffee. The other day, I was at tehe supermarket and came across gluten free oatmeal. Maybe you can try to get a sugar free one then adding your fruit to it won't seem so bad. Do you like yogurts? Those are great as well. Just make sure to have breakfast because it is the most important fueler of the day.0

Baked Banana Oatmeal Bars (Topped with PB)
Preheat oven to 375. Slice up one banana (or 2 if you want) to layer on the top.
1) Combine the dry ingredients:
■2 cups rolled oats
■1 tsp baking powder
■1/4 tsp kosher salt
2) Combine the wet ingredients:
■1 egg, beat
■1 mashed banana
■1.5 cups skim milk (I use soy, works great!)
■1 tsp vanilla
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Mix well.
Line an 8″ pan (square or round) with parchment paper (for easy removal and cutting!).
Pour batter into pan. Top with remaining banana slices.
Bake for ~26 minutes or until firm and golden. Let it cool. Then slice into 8 servings and freeze in plastic baggies or foil.
Every morning I take one out, throw it in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and top with 1 tbs of peanut butter. Tastes delicious and under 300 calories! Enjoy0 -
I add diced up dried apricots to mine.0

i either mix dry oatmeal in some yogurt and let is sit for a couple hours (sometimes do this the night before)
or i make a serving of hot oatmeal and mix in Ketle corn popcorn seasoning which is about 5 calories, or cinnamon and stevia.
sometimes i mix in some PB2 when i want a peanut butter flavor
or one cup oatmeal mixed with 2 ripe mashed bananas dropped onto a cookie sheet and baked for 8-10 minutes for oatmeal banana cookies.0 -
When it's warmer I make refrigrator oatmeal. You can get lots of recipes from Google or Pintrest. My fave so far is using 1/2 cup quick oats, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, half a banana ( cut up), 1/2 cup blueberries and a couple drops of vanilla. Mix in container and stick in the fridge overnight. In the morning I will mix in some chopped walnuts or almond slivers.
This sounds really good!! Im going to try this!!0 -
I just put some protein powder (Combat Powder Chocolate flavor) and that's it. It tastes so good.. I never get tired of it. That protein powder tastes really good.. I won't use any other brand because most of them tastes horrible.0

i actually just got finished eating a savory oatmeal and it was incredible! I used old fashioned oats, vegetable stock, green peppers, broccoli, and then added oregano, garlic and onion seasoning. Microwaved for a minute, then enjoyed. Definitely will make tomorrow!0

My go-to oats:
1 medium apple chopped and covered in cinnamon, heated for 1 min
1 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp oat bran cereal
1/4 cup large flake oats
loads more cinnamon
1 1/4 cup water
heat for an additional 2 mins, stirring halfway
then top with greek yogurt and natural PB or PB2
But honestly, search KERF and Ohsheglows for amazing recipes.

I eat mine raw, just about every morning during the week I have:
1/2 cup oats (Usually use quick oats since they're chopped a little finer)
1 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup blueberries (I get the frozen ones and defrost a couple handful for about 2 minutes and then put them in a hand chopper)
Mix it all together usually have a protein shake to go with it.0
