    hi amanda. i started at 278 in the fall. i am down to 218. i had gastric bypass surgery in october. you might want to make your first goal something more attainable sooner, like 300. then lower it by 20 pounds each time you get to that goal.. just my two cents..
    anyways, i would love to be your friend. add me if you want.

    I agree with having smaller goals to start with because they are more realistic and you can accomplish them sooner which in turn will you make you feel better and you will challenge yourself to try harder.

    Hello All!
    I'm a pretty tall lady, at 5'9! :) I'm on a ketogenic diet, low carb, high fat diet myself (waits for arrows) :laugh:
    And I'm loving it, :love: now that I've been on it a little bit longer, I don't miss the processed or "white" carbs I've eliminated from my diet.
    Recently, in the past years, I've gained a ton of weight, until I reached my height/start weight at 310 pounds. It was then that it hit just how much weight I gained since 2008 being then at 190lbs.
    My ultimate goal is to get down to 180/175.
    I weigh about 283.2lbs right now, but I weigh in tomorrow, and I'm hoping to break into the 270's!!! :happy:

    I'm in the same boat! I started at 315 and I'm looking at a goal of 200. Once I reach that, then I'll re-evaluate if I want to do more. I know it can be done because I see so many awesome success stories! :smile:

  • currently 348. you can def add me. I guess going to the gym 6 days a week but 1 a day is social and energetic for me! my goal is 100 lbs I dont want to look like a rotwieler head and taco bell dog body. LOL

    I am also on KETO diet and have lost 24lb in a few weeks, I currently weight 342 at only 5ft 3.

    I am new to this site and I do want to seriously shed these pounds. I am currently about 312 pounds, give or take a few pounds. Please add me as your support buddy and that goes for anyone else who wants to add me. I have also set mini goals such as to get under the 300 lb mark...it seems like it has been so long since I've been in the 290's. I don't plan to end there but that is my first goal. WE can do this!!!.

    Looking for friends of like mind to rebuild my support group. I am at 323.6 lbs down from 151 I had a couple bad months and lost a bunch of friends. I am back on the waging an faring to go!! XD

  • I'm making a quick post so that I can revisit this thread. I'm 309 and can't seem to get under 300. It's getting really frustrating - Anyone feel free to add me! I'm starting with a walking program and cutting out sugar and a lot of carbs.

    I started at 310...down to 210 now...shooting for 190 as final goal. Add me if you like. I lost all of my 100 pounds using the hcg diet. I am doing a diet of no sugar or starch now.

    I started at 316, my heaviest weight ever, and I'm at 303 now. It's taking forever to get to my first goal of getting under 300 but I am so close! I am setting smaller goals to help me along the way but ultimately, I just want to be under 200, something I haven't been since middle school. I'd love to have more friends with similar goals so definitely feel free to add me! :)
