I'm a hair under 5'8" and right now I weigh 164. My goal is a fit and well-muscled 145. In the past, people thought I was way too skinny at 135 (I am very busty). Also, now that I'm in my 40's, I think an extra 5 or so pounds helps make the face less aged looking.0

I'm 5'8.5". I have a larger frame-hourglass shaped and anything under 160 looks too thin on me. I'm aiming for 160-170lbs-size 8 jeans.0

I'm 5'11 and looking at a final goal of 160. That's my end of ultimate goal though. I'm fighting for 175 right now.0

I'm 5'8" and I used a calculator on the Jillian Micheals website to determine the best weight for my height and it came up with 141lbs so looks like you've set your goal just right. I'm setting myself an interim of 160lbs I have a long way to go yet though!

I'm 5'7.5, age 31, no kids, medium frame, pear shaped, and my goal weight is 135. I'm currently 162, size 12.0

I have never been less than a size 12 in my life, so the goal is to get back there with at most a 24.3 BMI. I'm thinking that will leave me weighing somewhere around 160.
Being a 12 though would put me still on the borderline of plus sizes and for the first time in my life I'd like to be a 10, or an 8 so I can shop in the normal sizes. Depending, I might go down to 140 or less just to see becaus I've never been that thin, but I honestly don't think I would like it...0 -

I'm basically 5'10' and my starting weight was 165, I'm currently at 147 and my goal weight by this summer is 130.
When I first started I didn't really have a goal weight, I established that after I lost about 10 pounds and saw what '10 pounds less' looks like on me. I think baby steps is a great idea. Set a 5 or 10 pound loss goal and when it's off see how your body looks. From then you can roughly think of what your body will look like with another 5, 10, 15 pounds off and then determine your goal weight.0 -

This sounds like me. I'm 5'8" and started out at 275ish.... I'm down to 205 and my 1st goal weight is 175, then go from there. According to the "charts" I should be between 124 and 145.... I think that would look unhealthy on me as well....0 -

I was 5'8", but then at my last OBGYN appt was was 5'7-3/4"! :noway: I guess we shrink with age? :laugh:
my CW is 149, my GW is 140. I am 39 years old. Ultimate goal would be 135, but I would be happy to maintain in the lower 140's.0 -
i'm 5'8" i got down to a comfortable uk size 12 and was 147lbs, thats 10 1/2 stone. as i'm big boned that looked good on me, but that was without exercise. best of luck everyone :flowerforyou:0

I'm 5'8". I started at 175lbs (although my highest weight was 190lbs in high school) and set my goal for 145lbs. This morning I weighed in at 142.5. I'm happy with this weight so I am working on reducing body fat % while maintaining between 140-145lbs.0

I looked healthy and great in the lower to mid 140's. but I am going for the mid 130's, I want a bikini bod.
I am a 12 now at 176 pounds, i want to be back in a 6 or even a 4. The low 140's is a size 6 for me.0 -
I'm 5'8 and my goal weight is 155. I've been there before and felt good in my skin at that size. I could have lost another 10 pounds without being too skinny, but I don't think that is realistic at this point. I am 171 right now.0

5' 8" and my goal weight is 163.
I've been thinner before, but this seems like a maintainable weight for me. I'm a very comfortable size 10 at 165 and I feel that I would be happy with that. I'm not 18 anymore and as a wife and mom of three, I just want to be comfortable with myself and be able to wear all my old clothes.
Any other moms out there with similar goals are more than welcome to add me!! I'm very encouraging and log every day!!

I am 5'9" and currently weight 169 pounds at 31.4% body fat. I would like to get down to about 20-22% body fat, and I think that should put me around 144. My original target was 135, but I think that would take me down to about 15% body fat and that would be too skinny for me.0

I'm 5'8 and currently weight 144, ideally I'd like to be 136-138, I carry most of my weight on my hips so I'm trying the 30 day shred to try and shift a couple of inches of my hips/bum and fit perfectly into a UK size 10 (a US size 6 according to the label on my topshop jeans)0

I used be a touch over 5'8, but I think I've shrunk under all this extra weight...lol. Currently, I am a little over 5'7.5", and my goal weight is 135 and toned. However, the lowest weight I've ever been is 167, so once I get below 150, I will reevaluate whether my goal will stay the same or go up or down by a few pounds.0

I'm 5'8" at 15 years old and 137lbs so I don't know where to go from here because I can't get any accurate calculations so I'm thinking of it less like what weight i want to be and more like how much fat do I want to lose0
