I usually look in the mirror and think, "I wonder if my wife is gonna b**ch at me if I don't shave my unibrow today".

No actually I don't and I never have. I always see my own little flaws that are more than likely non-existant (according to my husband) and the spots that are wiggly, jiggly and need to be tightened up which are more than likely non-existant (according to my husband).

Nah. There are much better bodies and certianly better, ermmmm...packaged men that would better define hawtness to most. I do ok though.

I'm the same way I look in the mirror and still see my inner fat girl who needs to lose 100 lbs

I'm a confident girl generally, but no. I do see my flaws when I look in the mirror. It's not a negative thing for me, it's motivation for improvement.

This is me usually. My boyfriend asked if I wanted to wear a bikini this summer because he thinks I look amazing but I felt too insecure and went with a one-piece instead. I'm such a wuss. Maybe next summer... >.<

    This 100%
Even when I was at my smallest I never really saw what was there. It takes looking back at the pictures now to realize the progress I had made. My mom has always had body image issues and complains of wearing a size 2 and 4 so I think I inherited alot of that from her

I used to. When I was at my heaviest, I'd be like aw, I'm cute. I've never lacked confidence.
Of course now, I look at my before pictures and just go... WOW..... I was like the captain of the hot mess express.

I am my own worst critic, BY FAR!!! But that just fuels me to work that much harder!

I'm exactly the opposite-- that is, when I DON'T look in the mirror, the mental image of myself that I carry around in my head is a lot younger and hotter than the person that I see wearing my clothes (and looking really dumpy in them) when I pass a reflective surface. THAT b*tch is fat and wrinkly, and I don't like to look at her very much.

It's a crap-shoot for me. Some days I look in the mirror and think "Wow, I'm hot! When did that happen?", and other days I look in the mirror and still see my old 275 pound self staring back at me.

I have found the cure to my uncertainty is to post on any and all "Rate/Bang/Date/Hot or Not" threads on MFP, and let random strangers clue me in to where I stand hotness wise

Not at all. I guess you can say I have A.D.D. in life. I always see things I can improve or better. I get a lot of "Your the most determined person I know." . In reality, I just set high goals for myself. I don't achieve many, but keep plugging along at full speed. I wouldn't think its my best trait obviously, but ironically I accept that I always have more work to do...

Mostly, I check to see if there are crumbs in my beard or stains on the front of my shirt or pants. At my age, most women look right through me anyway, like I was pane of glass.
