I haven't logged on facebook for quite some time. It seemed like I spent way too much time peeking at other people's "lives" while I was soo unhappy. Now, I'm focused on ME, my goals, my dreams and only looking at plates of food I put in front of myself! ( I detest how everyone posts photos of their 1,000,000+ calorie snacks)
I might just delete my account, so far I haven't heard from anyone other than family, that's how important I was eh!  :noway:0 -
I only go on FB to pull pictures from my crossfit workouts that get posted0

I love MFP and yes Facebook is boring everyone talking to them selves whining about every little thing in their life. And friends on here care about u:)0

I agree 100% !!!! I forget to even login to facebook these days! hahaha unless I'm "checking in" at the gym...hahaha!0

Totally agree with you!!!0 -
Yup it has for me. I guess because we all have a common goal is to be healthier. I like the communication between people and people are more fun here for some reason.0

Thank god I am not the only person who thinks Facebook is the carbuncle on the *kitten* of humanity!!! I got an account after a work colleague nagged me into it, but I look at it once in about 18 months. To be honest, I had forgotten I had it!!! Besides, the conversations on MFP are actually interesting (well, most of them!)!!!!0

Facebook has too much negative energy, MFP has all good vibes, there are some really cool people on here.0

I do have FB but don't use it as much as I used to, but I'm often told I'm obsessed with this site lol xx0

Got tired of Facebook with everyone so whiny on it...and snoopy.
I love MFP...real support from strangers who i wish knew IRL. I had such fake "friends" on FB0 -
You figure both sites 80% of the content is someone saying they had a sandwich for lunch. Might as well figure out the Fats/Carbs/Protein of that sandwich.
Hahaha...sad but true0 -

What's facebook??? That just sounds stupid
I'm here a lot more, people are so much more fun and entertaining!0 -
MFP is my FB Witness Protection Program0

I miss Facebook back when it was more of a college student forum. Now everyone and their mother (literally) is on it and all they do is talk about themselves ALL DAY LONG. I also agree about the "bragging about kids" stuff. I never check my FB anymore and not even my family checks in with me. It's quite sad, actually.0

same here!!0

I do both. lol
But MFP isn't frowned on as much at work.0 -

HAHAH dang right. That's basically why I migrated to MFP.0 -

I use it to keep up with family in other states and countries. Handy that.
But you're right, people have gotten way too self absorbed on there. I wouldn't log into it as much as I have if I hadn't gotten sucked into some of their online games.
NOT farmville. Whoever invented farmville deserves an incurable disease.0 -

Facebook? What's that?
J/K - I rarely post on FB anymore, MFP is far more motivating!0 -
But what happens when all of us reach our goals? MFP will go down in a flame!0
