Deadlifts.
You won't be keeping your current butt, you'll be building a new, better one.0 -

squats. Keeping your butt pushed out in an exaggerated way. It's the exercise Coco does for her big butt0

Also it comes and goes. My butt shrunk and got flat, then got this neat little life, and now is getting flat again. Same thing with boobs. Shrunk and saggy and then POW, natural boob lift.0

Awwww ya.
Just drop it like a squat!0 -
I bought a video called Brazilian Butt Lift from Beach Body and it did wonders for my booty!0

I still have a nice round *kitten*. Mine didn't go south or flat. I walk and ride my bike. No squats for me Everyone comments on how nice it is even after I've lost all the weight. I wouldn't say its genetics because everyone else in my family has no *kitten* at all. They all look like they've been standing up against a wall their entire lives. Kind of funny how their back ends are super flat and they all have enormous guts. My husband swears I must be adopted. I don't even act like those nut jobs :laugh:0

Your body will hold weight where it wants, but squats and other direct resistance weight exercises for the lower body probably will help because they make you bigger. Occasionally, a woman will say that she doesn't want to increase the size of her butt, hips, and thighs. When I suggest not using weights on those areas - - which I learned from trainers who were sensitive to the average woman's needs - - there's been an outcry.0

Build the muscle!!! Lots of squats, deadlifts, and cardio that uses your butt muscles. To gain mass you want to use very heavy weight, and low reps0

Am I the only one who actually wants a smaller one? ????

I talked with my personal trainer and he told me that if I wanted to lose it I should do squats...
I feel like he wants me to keep it, according to you.. Haha0 -

What everyone else has said. Work dat *kitten*. Basically its impossible to control where your body loses fat. There is no such thing as spot reduction or gain. HOWEVER fat will seem to leave some area more as weight loss progresses. For example the last thing to go on the average male is the belly and with women its thighs/hips/*kitten*. Of course there are exceptions but its a general rule. It how you can see some girls with abs and still have junk in the trunk or a dude with nice arms chest and back but still have a belly.0

Squats can keep your butt perky but it will not make it "bigger"0

squats will definitely make your butt bigger. I used to not have one at all, and now it's a pretty decent one.0

Squats! The difference of having a butt and having an *kitten*!0

My "fat" picture from two years ago is on the left. My "fully bulked" picture is on the right. In that 2 years I lost 20lbs (cut)... gained 15lbs (bulked)... lost 12lbs (cut)... and gained 28lbs (bulked... as seen in the picture).
^^food + squats and deadlifts.
Here is a more recent shot...
.... I started cutting 5 weeks ago and am already down 10lbs. 10-12 more to go...0 -
If your butt is mostly fat and you lose weight WITHOUT lifting weights..... YOU WILL LOSE YOUR BUTT!
However, if you lift while you lose, you WILL keep, or possibly create a nice round booty that everyone will look at and probably want to touch.0 -
