How often do you exercise??

I exercise 4-6 times a week. I'm a shift worker so sometimes my routine gets messed up depending on what I'm working. The gym I go to has shorter hours on Saturday and Sunday and sometimes I find it hard to get there before it closes. I also listen to my body... if I need a rest day, it'll tell me!0

I go to the gym 7 days a week & do an hour of cardio, mostly the elliptical & treadmill, then 10 minutes on the rowing machine. I've recently incorporated weights in my routine but I lift VERY light....15lbs at the most & that's on a good day!
Cutting down on going to the gym though, 5-6 days is more ideal for me as I'm overworking myself & not giving my body the chance to rest and recover.0 -

I'm a shift worker too & it's annoying as I'm not as energetic exercising in the morning, which I'll be forced to if I'm working from 2.30pm onwards. My gym opens till 6pm on a Sat, 8pm on a Sun & 10pm for the rest of the days.0 -

At least 6 days a week I log a burn on here; 3 days gym (40+ mins cardio & a trip round the weight machines), walking nearly every day, zumba on xbox at least twice a week, other exercise games on the xbox at least once a week. I'm on L1D8 of the 30 Day Shred, which I do whenever I get the inkling. I also swim when I have time. This is on top of 2 full/2 half days volunteering in a charity shop, and helping my Grandmother do her shopping twice a week.0

I enjoy exercising every day, but I vary it. Currently, I do upper body weights twice a week, lowers twice a week, interval cardio twice a week and one day of yoga. I don't use a gym, but enjoy DVDs especially by Cathe Friedrich. I aim for about 45 minutes a day, a bit more when I have the time, and less when I don't.0

Clearly I'm lazy!!! I was doing 5 x a week but now I've dropped it to 4!! And I do an exercise DVD like 30ds or sweat and punch so around 30 mins a time!! Thing is I hate exercise, I therefore only want to do what's maintainable long term. I could do an hour in the gym everyday but once I've lost weight I wouldn't maintain that level! So I do what fits in my life. And it works for me ! And when i say lazy I generally mean for exercise I am actually on my feet pretty much from when i get up til 9 at night.0

I teach Jazzercise 4-5x a week & usually walk (which I hate) on off days. Jazzercise includes strength training & I really focus on pushing myself & my students so we're getting a good workout. (& no, we don't wear legwarmers or use 2 lb weights...haha)0

I don't like the exercise... I think part of it is my favorite exercise isn't easily accessible. I'm putting as an initial goal to get between 10-15 minutes a day minimum. This in its own right is hard for me as I work night shift and finding the right schedule is difficult. I mainly ride stationary bike, walk, I've dabbled in some calathenic type exercises and have also worked a little in zumba this morning. Zumba wasn't terrible but definately need to build up an endurance. I'm very out of shape.0

I spend most weekends at my bfs so its 80 miles away from my gym, so an average week for me goes:
Mon (sometimes I have mondays off) gym 30-45 mins cardio, usually elliptical and cycling, occasionally rowing
Tues gym 45-60 mins weights, 15-30 mins cardio
Wed gym 30-60 mins cardio
Thurs gym 45-60 mins weights, 15-30 mins cardio
Fri/Sat/Sun Wii Fit for an hour (this is new, I used to do nothing on weekends and felt lazy) and sometimes I will have fridays off
I find cardio pretty boring so I get on a machine, watch something on tv, and stay until its finished.0 -
Most days. 20-30 minutes of press-ups, dips and tai chi before breakfast, cycle 6 miles to work, a 20-30 minute walk at lunchtime, cyle home. Saturdays is for housework and shopping so not so much formal exercise. Sunday is 20-30 minutes of press-ups etc, a long run (8-12 miles) and more walking. I have a weekly 90 minute tai chi class with an occasional extra class or a demonstration and occasionally some sword dancing (i'm usually playing accordion for the dancers but can step in for the practice if we're short a dancer). It's mostly leg work and I want to increase the amount of upper body exercise. As the weather warms up and the evenings draw out I want to add a couple of short runs (3-4 miles) during the week.0
