So I'm currently on my third workout for the day and will post it soon ... But I feel terrible of what I've eaten today and it was all before 430 pm.... It is almost 7 pm now and I'm sure I'm going to wanna eat again but I feel soooooo guilty... I need someone to analyze my day and help me decide if I should eat or not!
Happy Easter to all who celebrated!

Guilty about what? The only thing you're over on so far is protein, and that's a good thing. You're still under on fat and carbs, and it wouldn't hurt you to go even further over on protein, so with 588 calories left you've got plenty of room for another meal.0

thats a pretty good diary for an Easter day
eat some more its choco xmas0 -
um what? your diary looks great...0

588 calories is plenty for a good meal, not like one day is going to make any significant difference in your body composition anyway.0
-
Thanks.... I just don't usually eat sweets like that and had to guess on calories which makes me more anxious0

You sound as if you are being rather over obsessive and extreme, doing 3 workouts when the day is not even bad.
Seriously. Not a healthy way to view things.
And really, you need someone else to give you permission to eat again today?
Maybe you should seek some therapy, as it sounds as if you are heading in a rather negative direction here.0 -

I've been eating more than usual this past week so this day is like the 5th day and I get scared for weighing in on wednesday0 -

The big thing to remember, that helps me, is the math. A pound is 3500 extra calories. Which is a lot of food. So even if you went totally Easter-crazy and ate a basket of candy and washed it down with a milkshake, you'd still be only gaining a pound-ish. Which isn't what you want (and a pain to lose, but not impossible) but it's not like going off your diet is going to make you gain ten pounds overnight. These things average out.
I try hard to not give myself a "splurge, it's a special occasion" mentality so that I don't start doing it all the time, but if you're generally disciplined about this sort of thing, you should feel good about that and be kind to yourself about the times when you are less disciplined.0 -

and don't feel bad about that
1) it's completely normal to need help. I think therapy is basically the best thing in the world and everyone should do it
2) it's actually empowering. instead of wallowing by yourself and worrying and stressing, you're taking the power back and doing something positive to make yourself a stronger person.
you look great, and you're eating well. don't be so hard on yourself.0 -

Thank you everyone! It baffles me that I can watch people eat double than me and think nothing of if but when I indulge a couple days it's the end of the world .... Ill work on that0

No problem there, and I have to say that I agree with Graelwyn75. Relax and try to see it from a different perspective, and remember that you should be doing this for you.0

i'm sitting here on mfp and eating jellybeans mindlessly.... your diary is great!0

Seriously?
It's fine. Stop beating yourself up.0 -
Huh? I thought your diary might look like mine... pizza, chili, and cookies lol Nope now I feel even worse about my food choices! lol0

Good for you for taking her words as kindness. Having an unhealthy relationship with food does sometimes require an objective outsider to get you on track. It isn't a failing on your part. It's quite common.
Your diary looks good. You don't have to be under, by the way. Think of your calorie goal as a target and try to be plus or minus 100 calories. It's better to be 50 calories over than it is to be 250 calories under.0 -
Today is just "one" day in your health journey. Put it behind you and move on.0

Take a deep breath. Now blow it out. . . R e l a x . . . You're still under your calorie goals for the day. Have a snack before bed. Start Monday with a new resolve. All is well. Oh, and happy Easter!0

With all due respect....you view towards food and exercise does not seem healthy. First of all your day is hardly terrible...add to that the fact that it's easter...I think you've done just fine! What worries me that you say you're on your third workout of the day....really? That is over the top. It's amazing that you have lost so much weight but don't become too obsessive about it. Life is about living and every now and then a little splurge...(and trust me yours is a little one) is ok! Are you willing to live the rest of your life like this? I would rather lose the weight a little slower and enjoy my life than freak out over calories all the time....and if I gain a pound of two here and there, so what? Please don't take this the wrong way....I'm just concerned. You are still so young...don't waste your life letting food control you.0

you need to read my blog I wrote today...totally relates (although the title might not look like it will). Enjoy and please try to relax. One day will not make a difference.

Not bad at all, I wish my day looked like yours! I ate 4000 yesterday (my birthday) and 3000 today and I did NOT do 3 workouts. You have absolutely nothing to feel bad about and if the last meal you ate was at 4, you should definitely still have some dinner before bed - especially with all the exercise you did today!0
-
I was about 600 over but I had known all week that it would happen. I wasn't going to deny myself or seem a kill-joy with my children for not eating my chocolate eggs! Don't worry about it, its one day only. Start again tomorrow0

This this this.
I couldn't have said it better.0 -
I overate by at least 300 calories, and I enjoyed every single bite. I knew very well that I was going over, and I purposely planned my week so I could eat overload today. I didn't choose the most prime-healthy choices either, but its one day. One day out of the months I eat well without splurging. So I feel no guilt what so ever. In fact, I think it does some good to get a little comfort food every once in a while. Keeps me from devouring every "empty calorie" food at thanksgiving and christmas when I splurge a little on all holidays0

lol. I thought this was a joke at first, but I'll just say I've done way worse. Good on exercising cause I wouldn't have done that much0
