My muffin top is shrinking!

It can be done! I'm so ecstatic!

Exhibit 1: This month's diet is next month's body.

ScreenShot2013-03-30at122018PM_zps161e56dc.png

Exercise mixture of Bikram yoga, JM's Ripped in 30, and running. 1-2 rest days per week.

Consistently ate at a 500-1000 calorie deficit, except for a few days during the week of my birthday, which were more like 100 calorie-deficit days. (Birthday week is hard!!)

*FML. Editing to get the pic to show up.
*Another edit... MUST NOT FORGET the backslash. Got it now.

I followed the link- You look great! Congrats! I love "this months diet is next months body"- what a great statement :)

Try changing the IMG to lower case- then you should be good.

I got it to work!!!! Now I just have to resize it so you can see the whole thing. And Photobucket is slow as paint drying. Getting there!

I had to just look that up! Just a smidgen of a difference:

    Feb 24/March 30

    Weight: 147.0lb/145.8lb
    BF: 24.9%/24.5%

Huh. I guess that shows that every bit of progress IS progress!!

And thanks, you look pretty amazing yourself lady!!!

That seriously made my day.. I always think of that hair as a big ol' nest that sometimes doesn't stay where I put it!

I was thinking the exact same thing! I would love my hair to look relaxed like that... I have a bob and I have to pull my hair back really tight to make it stay, and the ponytail is really chunky and short :( Defo some hair jealousy for you Richelle!
  • WOW YOU LOOK SUPER GOOD! Hard work really pays off doesn't it? Your hair is super cute, how'd you get it like that?

I am still laughing about the hair! Ok, here's how that hair happens-

    1. Don't wash hair for about 2 days (Even if I work out. Head doesn't sweat much, just face.)
    2. Rub some baby powder into the roots to cover up/soak up the greasies (gross, I know, but it's the truth.)
    3. Tease the crown a bit. Or don't. You might have enough volume from the grease and the baby powder.

    4. Turn head upside down, make a really really tight pony tail about a fist's length away from actual head.
    5. Take the end of the hair and thread it through the space between the pony tail holder and your head, from the back. (Kinda complicated. I learned that from some Pinterest tutorial but never pinned it, so I can't link to it. Fail.) After this there should be a pointy bit of hair sticking forward towards face.
    6. Smunch hair with another hair tie so it stays put on top of head, not at the back, because if it's at the back, that's annoying when trying to lay head on ground while doing crunches. The smunching is very technical and precise! Haha,
    7. Work out like a beast.
    8. Take progress pic from behind!

I hope you guys at least get a laugh out of that. Now stop thinking about gross greasy baby-powdered hair. Good luck!
