5' 0" 112 pounds small frame TDEE 1,427 eat 1,000 or less a day or I don't lose. Have 17 pounds to goal. That would place me at the lower end of normal.

Had a metabolic assessment done because I suspected a low metabolism. Turns out I was right. My TDEE is 1134 with a daily desk job. So if I want to be able to eat I have to workout a lot.

Far out that's hardly anything! I'm gonna have to have a rethink b/c I upped my cal intake but didn't take metabolism into factor... I guess I'll give it a few weeks before maybe lowering it again.

    Currently it's 1763 (20% drop included)

Are you sure that's TDEE? Sounds more like BMR (the calories you need to get by). That's almost 100 calories a day below my BMR and I'm 48, in menopause, 5'3" and 110. My TDEE is twice that, but I'm not sedentary. Even at sedentary, tho, it's much higher.

Mine is 2500. In November, I changed my calorie goal to 2500. This way I think in terms of my energy deficit rather than having a strict goal. I generally stay around 2000 calories a day, but sometimes I go higher, and once in a while I'm not as hungry and go a bit lower.

Depending on what calculator I use for BMR and maybe interpolating between playing around with the different activity coefficients I would calculate my TDEE to be around 2800-3050

Now if we make the assumption that 1 pound = 3500 calories and I do a mass & energy balance for the past 150 days that I've been tracking and lost 42 lbs, then my back-calculated TDEE is 2913.

So it looks like I'm the least special of all snowflakes

My TDEE for today (every day is obviously a little different, unless your days repeat exactly) is ~3,500 calories. 2,200 from my BMR and 1,300 from today's activity.

... and yes, counting my calories and eating less than my TDEE but more than my BMR always results in weight-loss for me.

    I just calculated mine...

On more strenuous days it is 2568
On just work days it is 2278

This is so shocking to me... I couldnt imagine eating more than that in a day now, but i must have done so in order to gain weight hahaha

I calculated mine to be about 2700, yet I can ate 3700 calories/day and lost weight..I'm experimenting at 4500 per day right now, any calculations for TDEE for myself have proven worthless..

Mine is 2070 to 2180 depending on which calculator I use. The lower end is as per my FitBit so I generally use that.

My TDEE is 3,042 at 176cm, 61.9 kg and about 10% body fat.

That being said I track my calories and macros on a weekly basis so I focus on hitting my weekly caloric target of 21,294 instead of a daily goal.

I am sedentary most of the day but run six days a week overlapping with my lifting (stronglifts 5x5) and crosstraining schedule (swimming and cycling primarily). I take one rest day every week.

I am currently maintaining my weight until my October marathon but may try to add some bulk after that.

    TDEE: 2234

Do I pay attention to it? No I had to google and use a TDEE calculator to find out what it was ;)

    TDEE 2700
    TDEE -20% is around 2100
I take out the average axercise I do each day, which i about 400 calories, so my caloric goal each day is about 1700.

And lots of play room in that.

Why do you take out the exercise. That should be included. You've already taken out 20%

My fitbit tells me my TDEE daily, and it's generally between 2700 - 3000 a day. It's quite interesting to see how much it differs!

Mine is somewhere between 2700 and 3200. I am still figuring what will help me maintain . I am 5'7 , female, 32 and around 140 pounds. This takes into account my active job, but not exercise .
