I'm down for that. Last weekend was a mix of road/mountain for 30 miles total but then weather closed in. So this fair weather rider will move to the indoor resistance trainer tomorrow to start fresh. My goal is to maintain >90-105 rpm cadence over all terrain for 45-60 minutes 5X weekly, mileage being secondary to fitness. Have fun everyone!0

I am a beginner at cycling, I do most of my cycling inside. However I have been trying to build up some courage to ride to and from work. It is about 5 miles. Maybe I will get the boost I need to make that happen this Spring!!0

I am in. I use an exercise bike (hopefully one day will be able to get an outdoor bike,and remember how to ride it,lol)
Just ordered padded bike shorts today on Amazon since my seat is so painful for long sessions. So hopefully they will help and I can increase my workouts.
Right now I just want to do at least 4days a week for at least 60minutes. I watch tv and sometimes go online while I ride, so calculating by mileage is out.
Looking forward to some motivation to ride from all of you

I'm in :-) I just recently got a road bike and I'm new to outdoor cycling. I've been spinning a few days a week since January. I'll be doing a combo of both and will set myself a goal of 150 miles for the month.
4/2 - Spinning 45mins approx 15 miles

First "long ride" (relative, of course!) of April and I definitely could have gone longer, despite baby giving sharp "this angle isn't working for me" jabs every 20 min! I really feel like my gym is being "bike-ist" by not having these dang bikes (5 out of 8 are broken) fixed sooner! Now I know how you people who get frustrated with the weather feel!

This sounds like the place for me. Excited for spring to be here and and looking forward to spending many hours on the bike this spring / summer. In the past I've done casual biking on my mountain bike, but received a hand-me-down road bike last month when my brother went out and bought a newer fancier model. I have the bike inside on my trainer and try to do 30 minutes a day 3 or 4 times a week and will be getting out once or twice a week for rides in at least 15 miles in length (did 15 with my bro the day before Easter).
I can thank biking for helping me lose 85 pounds the first time around and will turn to it to help me take off the 50 pounds I put back on since then!!!
I will be biking in the Pan/Ohio Hope Ride this summer to raise money in the fight to cure cancer. It is a 328 mile trip over 4 days throughout the state of Ohio. I've got a lot of work to do!
Monthly Goal: 150 Miles on top of getting some training done in the house when I'm home with the kids on the bike trainer!
