Chobani or Oikos ?

Chobani for me, the Oikos is a bit heavier on my stomach.0

I have texture issues so Chobani is out for me...it's too much like cottage cheese and has a sour cream type taste to it. I really like the Oikos because it has a great flavor to it and is creamy, which I don't get from Chobani. I've heard good things about Fage but haven't tried it yet.0

Whatever's on sale for $1 each that week, lol.
I personally think the store brand (I shop at Ginat), tastes sooo much better than Chobani

Chobani with fruit on the bottom-I like Oikos, but Chobani has more and better flavors in my opinion, and they also make those flip things which I love sometimes having.0

Are Oikos and Fage similar? I don't mind the sourness of yogurt but my mom dislikes it greatly so I'm looking for a healthy, not sour, sweet style yogurt for her. What would you recommend - the Oikos or Fage? Neither?

Chobani with passionfruit on the bottom! One of my favorites!0
-
Neither - Fage Full Fat. Why? Because it's thicker and adding 1 tablespoon of Jello cheesecake mix turns it exactly into cheesecake filling. I've tried fat-free and 2% varieties of Oikos, Voskos, Chobani and Fage - but the full-fat produces the better cheesecake filling thanks to the fat content which gives it that fluffy texture.
Sounds yummy! I will have to try this but with the 0% plain! Thanks for the tip!0 -
Tried both, hated both. Love Noosa, though.
All the other greek yogurt I've tried tastes like sour cream but has a gritty texture. Noosa is amazing.0 -
Neither, anymore. Recent convert to Liberte Greek..............love, love , love their lemon!!!!
Isn't it fantastic?! It's one of my faves, I love their blackberry flavor too.0 -
Definitely Fage, much, much tastier!0
-
CHeesecake Fage?! Sounds amazing0

Can't stand chobani. It has an off flavor. I prefer Fage. Have not tried Oikos.0

yoplait. cause, i'm a creature of habit. sorry, don't throw things. *ducks for cover*0
-
of the two I like Oikos, but Fage or Greek God are my favorites.0
-
Definitely Fage. My husband prefers Oikos because it is much sweeter He isn't the one trying to shed pounds though...0
-
Neither! Fage is the ****! :glasses:0
-
Fage plain and I add my own 'stuff'0
-
Neither for me!
I feel like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like Greek yogurt. Tastes like sour cream to me, even the flavored ones!
Me too! I can't get past the taste.0 -
Which and why ?
Oikos. Sweeter, has more sugar but it's more fulfilling to me. Keeps me full. Tastes good. Almost like dessert. Chobani has a funky aftertaste.
I also enjoy Fage.0 -
Chobani,
they have blood orange, passion fruit, and the apple and cinnamon is spectacular0 -
Make your own! We do a batch every weekend - and even with adding our own fruit, it costs less than HALF than the brands in the store. Tastes better, too.0
-
Definitely Fage, much, much tastier!
^^^ THIS!!!0 -
I would like to try Chobani but I can't find it ANYWHERE.
Ugh and I just googled and that's because it's unavailable in Canada. Boooo.0 -
Chobani!!! Just a loyal fan LOL... I love them0

Oikos is my favorite but I like both. Oikos is sweeter and Chobani not as much. If you are getting Oikos with fruit on the bottom most have 120-130 calories where the Chobani has 160 for the fruit. My favorite is the Oikos Toasted Coconut but it has 160 cals. I eat greek yogurt everyday and usually that's all I have for breakfast so the cals aren't as important to me.0
-
I like both, but prefer Chobani because they make my two favorite flavors: Banana, Pear.0
-
I personally like the Oikos better(especially the key lime yum!) although I do occasionally eat chobani pineapple. But I like sweet stuff so really it depends on you own tastes.0
-
Fage. Chobani is fine, Oikos is fine, but I like Fage best.0
-
Used to LOVE Chobani before it got so popular. Now it doesn't seem to be as fresk. Oikos is pretty good.
Although since Oikos is Stonyfield now, they'll probably start adding tons of sugar.
I've mostly switched back over to cottage cheese, though.
I may try the Noosa or Liberte based on recs here.0 -
If your talking about Greek Yogurt..... Dannon Light Greek Yogurt is great and only 80 calories...0
