ANY kind of sweet. We can't keep them around because I would literally eat them all in one day. It has to be an occasional, I have to get up and actually GO somewhere to get it if I want it.

Exactly what i do with ice cream ... then it's a trip to go get some (only from an awesome place like Yumz or Oberweise though! - gotta make it worth it!)

Anything with high fructose corn syrup

    Anything with partially hydrogenated oil

Anything that claims to be "healthy"...if you have to market the fact that your product is "healthy"...then it's probably not all that. Besides, we all know what we should be eating most of the time.

Peanut Butter... I'm not sure what it is about peanut butter but if it's in the house I will find away to eat it until it's gone.... So I'll be like ohhhh pb toast for breakfast pb and banana for a snack pb sandwich for lunch pb and apples for a snack pb on anything for dinner... I've eaten a whole jar in 2-3 days... so now I just don't buy it. I have no control when it comes to Peanut Butter!

    Cookies, crackers, chips.
    Bread, potatoes, rice.
    Candy.
    Peanut Butter.
    Ice cream.

Basically anything that tastes so good that I'm liable to eat it all in one sitting or over the course of a day. I can't explain exactly where that line is, but I know it when I see it.
  • I have no control over peanut butter either!! I don't like chocolate unless it has peanut butter. I could eat an entire jar in a few days.
No peanut butter in my house anymore.

My weakness is shredded cheese. If we have tortilla chips in the house I will sprinkle shredded cheese all over them and melt it in the microwave and then put a load of salt and hot sauce. It is terrible. I have no self control over that when we have it in the house.

Try not to bring the following into the house (If I'm truly craving it, I will go somewhere and get a small or individual portion)

ice cream of any type or flavor
    cookies
    potato chips
    tortilla chips
regular/buttery microwave popcorn (I am good about regulating the low-fat kind)

I have them in the house but I can not handle or consume any:

    Potato chips
    Corn Chips
    Doughnuts
    Snickers

I am married to a thin man who enjoys junk foods in moderation so they are in the cabinets for him. I can't eat just a little bit of the above list so I just pretend I am allergic. I have to completely steer clear of Sonic & McDonalds because I am incapable of making healthy choices there. Anything else seems to work in reasonable portions but the above foods just turn me into a cookie monster.
  • carbs. carbs. Sweets, ice cream. Pizza. Oh and candy. That's about all the good stuff. It can't be in the house. Period.

GOLDFISH, I eat them by the handful. My husband and I buy the costco size box and are lucky if it lasts a week.
    poptarts
oreos or any sort of cookie snack
    tortilla chips
Dove dark chocolate. I always say I want to have a little chocolate stash for "emergencies" but I always end up eating it when I'm bored.
