One note you might want to add is that if someone is going to switch to this method and increase their calories, they should bump their cals up by about 100 per week AND give it a month to assess their progress. I am concerned that people will add 500 cals a day and be shocked when they gain weight as they adjust.0 -

Since there is no way to flag a conversation to be able to refer to it later, many people reply with "bump" rather than a comment to both a) keep it in their topics so they can see when additional comments are made, and b) bump the thread up to the top of the recent posts list so others will be able to see it quickly.0 -

That number is so scary for me, to up my calories goals to 1960 calories a day just because I work out 3-5 days a week?
This is making me nervous lol (It seems like so many calories!)
But I am kinda intrigued and want to experiement with this for this week and see what happens.
If you are nervous to begin with such a huge jump, you can always add 100-200 calories to your goal a week at a time until you are at the new goal.0 -
