what is a cup measure?

Hi, I am confused about certain things - such as a cup of rice - is that a cup of cooked rice or raw rice? a slice of pizza - what size is it? a cup of dal, 100 gms of spagetti - again cooked or raw??? can someone please help?

I believe a serving of rice is 1/2 cup raw, 1 cup cooked (it also will tell you on the package)
I believe the same goes for pasta, 1 cup cooked again see if the package tells you
Pizza- depends on the place you get it from and what size, if you are unsure ask when ordering what the diameter of the pizza is, and you should be able to find something comparable in the database (large usually = 14" and small usually = 8" around where I live)
Check individual labels rather than relying on the database here when applicable.0 -
