In no particular order, these 5 items are always on our list every other week. There isn't even a need to ask if we have run out of any of them when grocery shopping day is around the corner. They simply get added to the list automatically:

    1) Eggs (we obliterate a tray of 12-18 eggs a week).

    2) Fage 0% plain yogurt (we destroy two to three 33-oz tubs a week).

    3) Frozen salmon fillets (Wed is chest day. Wed is also salmon dinner day).

    4) Thick-cut bacon (bacon is a religion in our house).

    5) Lean poultry (chicken and/or ground turkey).

We just hit the grocery store today and before we left the produce section we had green peppers, cucumbers, leaf lettuce, romaine, beets, radishes mushrooms, carrots, celery a bag of cuties.

In the fridge already were a bag of spinach, red bell peppers, lemons, potatoes, another bunch of beets, red cabbage, green cabbage, parsley, asparagus ...

This doesn't count the fruits and veg in the freezer. The checkout kids at the grocery have nicknamed us "The VeggieTales."

Tonight's supper was a sauteed spinach/mushroom/olive/tuna concoction with a mayo/yogurt/parmesan spread on still warm from the oven whole wheat bread.

Hubby voluntarily eats a bowl of raw veggies for his lunch. I am less rabbit-like and tend to cook and dress my veggies.
