  • I had special K Almond cereal, put in chunks of banana with skimmed milk :) & tea!
    next week i'm moving to egg whites !

    1 tortilla wrap with 2 pan-fried eggs and 1 piece of 97% fat free bacon (cooked without oil), topped with grated cheddar cheese and cracked pepper. (430cal) It's delicious, but a little indulgent perhaps?

    I had to get up at 7:30am to go to the chiropractor so I just had a Fiber One bar and then I treated myself to a Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks, because the city has been working on a water pipe near my house and my coffee tasted like dirt this morning.
  • At 7:30am:
    1 medium Red Delicious Apple
    1oz Cabot's 50% Reduced Fat Vermont Cheddar Cheese
    5 Reduced Fat Ritz Crackers

    Then at 10:45ish, I plan to have:
    3/4 cup Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds (my favorite cereal ever)
    1/2 cup All Bran Original cereal (don't care for it by itself so I like to use it as a filler to consume adequate fiber)
    8oz Skim Milk

    3 slices of white toast = 165 cal
    5 slices of turkey = 45 cal

    equals 320 calories :happy:

    my own egg mcmuffin - but a thousand times healthier!

    I had a cup of that new Kellogs Fiber plus yogurt berry cereal with 3/4 cup of vanilla almond milk. :) So yummy. And a hard boiled egg.

    I had a lonely White Chocolate Macadamia Luna bar this morning. :blushing:
    I realized over the weekend that breakfast is one of the meals I need to fix. Not bad I guess, considering a few months ago I never ate breakfast, hehe. I'm definitely noticing that salsa has more use than just nachos!

    I had a smoothie made out of blue diamond vanilla almond milk, one banana, 5 strawberries, and 15 blueberries, yummy. Oh, and my Chi Chi Chi Chia seeds......

    LOLOL!! I've been hearing about this chia ALOT lately...what is it/are they?

    I'm saving this thread...there are some GREAT suggestions for breakfast...my favorite meal of the day!

    Georgette~I'm with you...I eat oatmeal EVERYDAY...so much so, that I go to Costco to buy their huge bag of frozen berries to add to the oatmeal/flaxseed/wheat germ/almond milk concoction!
  • I had a Light and Fit Raspberry yogurt with a 1/4 cup of Kashi go lean berry crumble of cereal on top.

    Strange breakfast today...

    1/2 bagel (70 cal) with 1 tbsp light peanut butter (80 cal) - as half my bagel got stuck in the toaster lol
    starbucks tall vanilla nonfat latte- 150 cal

    Total 300 cal, very light breakfast for me.

    Mines quite boring. Special K , skimmed milk, glass of orange juice and tea. Sometimes I have 50/50 Special K and bran flakes, sometimes porridge or Muesli and occasionally a boiled egg.

    Mine was pretty boring today.
    16 oz milk, with 2 tbs chocolate Nesquik powder (300)
    1 string cheese (80).

    But you can't deny 29 grams of protein!! :D

    1 miso soup before church
    upon return: 5.3 oz cup of plain Greek yogurt 0%
    1/4 cup cooked brown lentils
    1 mug of coffee, black.
