You are 18 and pregnant.....you should focus on getting your life situated and a healthy pregnancy. You have the rest of your life to date.0

I agree. Also, if you're dating someone your age, chances are he wont be ready to take care of a baby.0 -

^ this. And you haven't even graduated high school yet (according to your profile). The last thing you should even be considering is dating.
You need to focus on your health, your school, and your future.
And realize that anyone you date has to be someone also willing to take your kids into account. That's a lot to ask of anyone at anytime...but before you do, you should have yourself straight first.0 -
I agree with the other posters, it's time for you to focus on yourself, your baby, and your reptiles! Dating can come later and just let the other guy go. He doesn't deserve you anyway.0

Reptiles?? I'm so confused!! :grumble:0 -
Sorry to hear that. I don't blame you for being exasperated with men, a lot of them are jerks. Got rid of mine February. Make sure you & your baby are healthy & happy before you go out on the dating scene again. A breather & time to bond with baby--don't worry, Mr. Right will show up, usually when you least expect it.0

May have something to do with her username......
OP - Im with Joy_Joy0 -
All men (and women for that matter) lie about something. Just find one that doesn't lie about everything. In the meantime, focus on the baby and not finding other men. Just use men for sex, much easier...but use condoms after the baby.0

Most guys at 18 are no where near ready to settle down! Focus on you and the health of your baby. You will have plenty of time to date and find the right guy.0

You shoulda rubbered up, gonna suck for your kid not having a dad.
Way to make guys look worse by being a douche. You do know condoms aren't 100% effective right? Get a clue and, for the record, I feel sorry for any woman stupid enough to date you.
To the OP, I agree with catrinah. Focus on you and your baby and forget dating. Best of luck!0 -
Alright. Well first off protection was use (doesnt't always work you know).0

I didn't say that, she shouldnt of had unprotected sex, now some poor kid is born fatherless.
Who said it was unprotected, and who are you to judge anyway? Things happen.
The kid is better off with a loving mother than it would have been with a loving mother and an abusive father.0 -
Thank you. It works for me.
You're doing the Lord's work.0 -

First of all, you don't know her situation, so you shouldn't assume what happened. There are plenty of ways to have protected sex that still results in pregnancy. And just because a kid doesn't have an active father, that means it's "some poor kid"? As if a father figure is absolutely needed and that a woman can't successfully raise a child on her own? That is so insulting on so many levels I can't even.0 -
id say focus on you n baby build ur self esteem up n ull attract the right sort0

Liars and cheaters, of any gender, are worth of scorn and loathing, miss.0
-
oooh dnt judge bout pregnancy everyone else I got pregnant on inplant in middle of nursing training0

So much fail with this whole situation that is not solely the fault of some guy...
But I only add that I agree with Joy_Joy and leave my other opinions unstated.0 -

Focus on you & your baby. You don't need the stress right now. I'm a mother of 2 and at the end of the day my boys are all that matters.0
-
You need to focus on living your life without regard to your relationship status.0
-
We're not all dogs, liars and cheaters.. But just like everybody else said.. Keep your focus on yourself, your child and your health.. The right guy will come along one day.. You've got plenty of years ahead of you to look forward to real love.0

So far, I haven't heard evidence of you dating an actual man. Have your child, get an education, and hopefully by then you will have figured out why you keep attracting woman-beaters and general losers, and THEN you might actually be able to find and hang on to a real man. Stop blaming everyone with a penis for your problems.
Suddenly, I'm left wondering whether or not the "great guy" you met and got "serious" with (a mere 7 weeks after conceiving a child with someone else) knew you were pregnant ...
I know, I know. I'm a horrible, judgmental person. Or whatever.0
