Get out of the 200's before the summer is out!

Hello, Hello. I am about 220, and I am ready to stop seeing the number two in front out my weight! I am determined to either be out of my 200's or either in the very, very low 200's by the end of August. If anyone has similar goals feel free to join me! I can use all the motivation and support I can get, and I will definitely pass it right on back.

I'm with you! I've been stuck around 214/215 for weeks. I could use motivation and a push to do something instead of just talk about doing something.0

I would love to get out of the 200s but i don't think i can do that by the end of august. I am aiming to see a low 200 number by the end of august. Currently I am at about 236lbs so to be around 210-215 by the end of august would rock! I have been watching my calories lately and increasing the amount of fiber that i have been eating, plus i have been getting in a few hours of golf here and there. Soon I will be back to the gym and back to water aerobics (have to get my schedule straightened out).0

so glad to have a good response we are going to do awesome , and yes anyone wanting to say good-bye to the 300's are welcome to join as well. I think we got just about everyone's starting weight if you haven't posted yet feel free. I would like to post bi-weekly if that is okay with everyone so it should be.

For the end of August I would love to be 330
For september would love to be 315
October would love to be 305
November 18th I want to be atleast 299
December I want to be 290
and in time for my cruise I want to be 280 I honestly would love to be 260 but I am good with 280.0 -
I'm definitely with you on this one. I'm around 230 now, and I probably can't get 200 by Aug 31 (especially since I'm losing inches, not pounds), but I definitely want to be closer!0

I have been doing Laila Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard kickboxing 2 times a week, but I'm gonna start doing it 3 times and week, and possibly walkin the other 2 days.. And about 45 days before the wedding i'm gonna start the 30 day shred... OH GOODNESS!!
Next week (can't this week b'c i already went grocery shopping for the week) I'm eating "clean" no boxed food. Only veggies, fruits, and meat.. No dairy, grains, starches. Hopefully this will help kick start my weight loss..0 -
My normal weigh in day is Fridays, so todays weight is from last Friday.

This week I'm upping my veggie intake, even gonna try a new one, I'm thinking eggplant. My eating habits are usually pretty good, so I'll just continue watching my sodium intake. As for exercise this week and next, it's Couch to 5k weeks 8 and 9 3x ea week. On the days I'm not doing c25k, I plan on doing the Leslie Sansone 5mile walk at home video, dance and swim depending on the weather. I always do a morning walk (unless it C25k day, then its a jog) as well as an evening walking every day. I've also got that other challenge I'm doing, this week it's 75 squats and 100crunches for the week, but I may try and do that a day Together, we can do it!0 -

MrsSki, I am positive you will reach your goal by the end of the summer, success is tapping on your door. Just remember to push it only 3 more pounds!
-everyone else it sounds like this may be the thing to give us that push! I just got done with my first day of the 30 day shred, and I almost died! I did not think I was going to last. I have been doing a pretty good about my eating habits, I think I will not eat my exercise calories though, maybe that will help me out.0 -
I would love to, but I don't know if it is do-able. Over the last 2 weeks, my net is +1.6, so the scales is going in the wrong direction, even with never being over calorie and exercising.
Anyway... at 226.6 right now and I'd love to get as close to the 200's as I can by the end of the summer.0 -
Melodyg, well you may be gaining muscle, so just check your inches! It seems like you're going in the right direction even if the scale isn't!0

I'm in!! My official weigh-in is Saturday morning, but I'm a scale fanatic, so this morning I was 207.2.
I just came back from vacation, and gained 1.5 pounds back (but was happy it was only that much!!), and I think it was because I was not working out or drinking enough water... So my goal is to get back up to 10-14 cups of water daily and get back on that darn exercise wagon!!

Count me in too! My loss has really slowed since about 225... I'm at 212 now and really want to see that 199 before August is out! I've been watching calories, managing carbs and keeping low sodium and swimming or running at least 4 times a week. Let's do this!!!

I am now at 233.6 lbs so that puts me at 3 lbs down since last month. only 18.6-23.6lbs to go till I make my goal - I should move my date out till the end of Sept. So, heres to hoping I lose weight on vacation and heres to getting back to an exercise routine!0 -
I'm with you! I started my journey at the beginning of this year at 245 and I'm currently at 208! I wanna get those last 8 pounds off like you wouldn't believe! It's been forever since I've seen a 1 at the beginning of my weight. I hope I can do it by the end of summer!

Well, this week has been pretty good to me. I haven't gone over calories or much of anything :drinker: I completed week8 day3 of the Couch to 5k plan this morning. For the rest of today through Sunday, I'm continuing my squats and crunches and my morning and evening walks. Today I will actually have a 3rd walk as I am gearing up to meet a friend I haven't seen since my wedding in 08 at the park for a walk (I'll still have my evening walk after dinner, including my c25k this morning I'll get all 3 in). I hope to go swimming this weekend, weather being a huge factor. Stormed it's bum off yesterday evening so I'm making up for the lost walk. I'm currently at 120miles walked since June and I have til Sept 8th to make 200 I can do it, I WILL do it!! I weigh in tomorrow, I'll be back then, here's hoping to see 216 on the scale tomorrow :drinker: Bru0

Just found your post and I would like to join. I was at the Dr. On Monday the 19th and I was 247!!!! the most I have ever weighed so I need H-E-L-P
I know I can't get below 200 by August 31 I would like to be closer.

hello just checking in. well i have been doing pretty good with my cals & i have been doing the 30 day shred. (on day 6). sometimes i do another exercise in addition to the shred. I am not going to weigh myself until probably Mon or Tues, but I am anxious. I decided to sneak a little bit, and i measured my bust and i went down a half inch in 6 days so thats pretty good. everyone keep it up you guys motivate me!0
