Any open food diary out there w/out shakes?

Does anyone have an open diary that doesn't consist of a bunch of "meal replacement" shakes? I am looking for meal ideas but a lot of diaries I look at have shakes/smoothies for 1-2 of their meals. My calories allowed are approx 1700 daily but can add/remove from the ideas I get. I wouldn't mind maybe trying the shakes at some point but don't think I could do it everyday. Thanks for any help.

    Mine should be open. I don't do shakes normally - good protein powder is too expensive for me to buy regularly. My diet is not 100% "clean" but I get in a decent amount of protein and nutrients most of the time.

    Mine is open, though I can guarantee that I don't eat 100% clean or healthy. But if you want ideas it's there. My goal before working out is to net 1694. The last few days have been pretty bad, I'll admit. I let my chocolate cravings get the best of me (TOM). Good luck :) I drink shakes occasionally, but not as meal replacements. I did make one that I couldn't manage to eat anything with, but it was extremely high calorie (peanut butter, greek yogurt, ect). I've only made it once though and couldn't even finish it when I did. :laugh: But I don't do things like that on a normal basis.

    Open to friends.
    I have a protein shake after strength training, along with poached egg, grilled bacon etc.
    I rarely only have a shake as a breakfast item on its own. Only if I have a call immediately after getting back from the gym ...
    I typically eat between 1400-1600 in a day and I can manage a couple of post training shakes in a week with no issue, alongside real food.

    I have an open diary and dont use any meal replacements, just dont judge me for tonight's drinks ;) it's a one off!

    Mine is open, feel free to add me and/or creep my diary. I drink a post-workout protein shake everyday but its not a meal replacement .. I don't even treat it as a snack actually. lol

    Try some ricotta or cottage cheese instead. Ricotta is whey protein, and cottage cheese is casein. I don't do powders either, I prefer natural.

    i am same as you, I like looking at other people's diaries for food inspiration as I can get stuck in a rut eating the same thing over and over otherwise

    feel free to look at mine. the last few days have been a bit odd, been sick

    ETA I do have some shakes, but they aren't for meal replacement. strictly after workouts. some are 2 servings for doing 2 hours on the elliptical.

    Mine is open, I eat all sorts, never use shakes - I like real food!! Not probably healthy in that I use butter, eggs, eat cake, fish and chips - but have lost 27 kgs :happy:

    I have shakes as one of my snacks these days. I cook clean, today I was stuck and had Chinese for lunch (hard to log unfortunately) but if you look back over the previous week it is very yummy and fresh :) I am at 1600net now

  • Mine's open to friends, and anyone can feel free to add me and I'll accept. I have no desire to ever use 'meal replacement' anything. I'm getting over binge eating behaviours so occasionally my diary may look a bit screwed up in the number of calories, but I normally hit around 1400. Also vegan.

    Feel free to add me. My diary is open. But I do eat mostly paleo (no grains or dairy). Also, my calories are set close to yours at 1800.

    Mine is open, I have 1 homemade shake a day post-workout, but it's NOT a meal replacement. I have 3 square meals a day + snacks, breakfast has a protein drink, but it's not the only item in my breakfast, always accompanied by fruit and cheese, and on days I don't have the breakfast drink I'll have a more carb-y cereal option.

    I don't have a lot of the ready-made options that a lot of people here have in their diarys as I'm overseas in Europe, and they just aren't an option - so I think my diary has actual FOOD ideas, instead of a bunch of WW or healthy choice "meals".

    Mine's open. I don't drink shakes. I did buy some shake mix a few months ago, as an experiment...so I was having them occasionally just to use the stuff up. So, it's in there every once in a while. But mostly I just eat food. And now that the shakes are gone, I'm not buying them anymore. I did not find it helpful at all. On days when I see that I need more protein, I'd rather have a yogurt as an evening snack, than a shake mix.

    My diary is open. I do have a protein shake in the mornings, but not every day. And I don't usually do just a shake. I normally add the protein to whatever I had planned on having. The rest of my food, is food. LOL.
  • feel free to add me, my diary is open my meals don't tend to have shakes, except as a snack (or like yesterday I forgot my lunch and was on the go).
