I was going to post that one, but I decided on the "What to do when somebody's talking to you and you don't want to talk to them" one.
I had posted another gif, but it was quoting an edited post and I don't want to be that jerk who quotes an edited post. So I went with the next best option - a gif about food.0 -
So...
<<<<<< Thick, curvy or obese?
I'd like to get your professional opinion because it matters oh so much!
If that face she is making is her O face, it would completely ruin boom boom time for me!
Just keep your eyes closed
Fortunately, I wouldn't be able to see her face through the back of her head.
Wait, what?0 -
oh boy, this is entertaining.
i already got one strike in the forums for offending fat/obese people so imma keep my mouth shut on this one. but it is keeping my chuckling at work, :drinker:0 -
OP: what you say is very true.
It does make you sound horrible.0 -

I'm curvy and "obese" because I have big tits, big hips and a little tiny waist, don't believe me just look at my profile pics. I was curvy before my thyroid became a traitor and am curvy still because I gained the weight proportionately. While I agree it may be unhealthy to make excuses for ourselves in our own denial but thats the individuals choice to make and should have no impact on YOUR life. This may be a pet peeve of yours but it in no way, shape or form means that you are right about it.
We can tear eachother down and make comments such as this or we can build eachother up and be eachothers cheer leaders. So the real question here is why this is an issue for you at all unless you somehow feel inadequate by comparison. If thats the case then you need to get some self esteem because these so called "obese" women you speak of apparently have more than you.0 -
Well this was entertaining. Thank you for all the wonderful gifs.
For the record, if you've never been obese, you really don't know what you're talking about. As one has lost a good bit of weight and still has a lot to go, sometimes it's nice to not call yourself fat. It's an ugly word. But yes, I'm fat. I'm also ridiculously sexy as the gentleman at work who's nickname for me is indeed "Sexy Curvy" will attest.
Maybe you should put down the keyboard an go lift something heavy. You clearly need something productive to do.0 -

Gotta love a bit of Jenna lol :smokin:0 -
i find it funny how people are getting upset because a person is trying to say that being "curvy" does not exempt someone from being obese.
Being obese is not a OPINION, it is a fixed medical level of fat.
So she has a problem with people saying "I am not Obese, I am curvy"
Dont understand what people are getting their panties in a bunch about.
As for those who think there isnt a problem with lying to yourself about your weight. How many people do you see get on the weight loss programs and have no god damn idea how fat they have gotten and just lie to themselves.0 -

Who's Bad?
Excellent cat fight! Was worth being in for it.0 -
even when white chicks are curvy they usually still see themselves as fat so it is all subjective.
whatever body image you are comfortable work towards it and stick with it
Talk about appearing from left field.0 -
Oh dear. I get the OP' s point but maybe it could have been worded better?
Not all curvy people are obese but I can see why some people may be annoyed when someone that clearly has a weight problem says "oh I'm just big boned/curvy"0 -

Medical report says you are thick and curvy LOL0

what i heard from this (i may be wrong) is that some of us who are working hard and getting/staying/being slim resent being diminished (pardon the pun) by a group that makes fun of their hard work/body type. Regrettably this demographic is picking on the wrong people. Take it up with the fashion/"beauty" industry and a society who relies too much on a very narrow version of what is considered, "attractive." I could get behind that.
Becoming the mean girls is not the answer.
Bullying is ugly, no matter who's doing it.0 -
I hate it when women are like, "I'm just curvy/thick/etc."
No, you're obese.
And then there are the ones that say things like, "Only real women have curves." How rude! :noway:
/end of rant.
I am confused... What difference does it make to you how someone else chooses to view or describe themselves? You might not feel the need to rant quite so much if you kept your eyes on your own page.0 -
