I had the same problem. The only place that had them anywhere near me was Whole Foods, but they were out of them every time I went. So I ordered them online--for a better price, too. I highly recommend them. http://www.house-foods.com/Tofu/tofu_shirataki.aspx
They keep for a long time in the fridge, so I got a variety pack. :-)
Thanks! I can't find them either!0 -
That looks amazing. when I first saw it I thought "well, that must have a lot of calories!!" amazing!!!x0

I will have to try these noodles again. I had tried them once before in soup and I couldn't even finish my soup. Maybe I didn't rinse well or something.0

I can never find the dry noodles. I don't eat soy, and havent' looked for those anyway. But Kroger doesn't have the dry ones. I can't find them at Walmart either. I so want to try these too.0
-
And I don't mean "dry" but the ones that aren't cold. The ones that aren't soy.0

Can somebody PLEASE tell me if these noodles are chewy? I am soooo terrified of trying them. I want to. I really do. But I'm scared! LOL0
-
Yes, they're chewy.
I tried this recipe the other day for lunch and it was SOOOO good. Not to mention, come dinner time, I could hardly eat a bite because I was still so full from lunch. Thanks for sharing this recipe!0 -
Oh I am into these! I use shirataki noodles to make baked spaghetti and Mac n cheese! Before these, I was seriously missing pasta. Now I eat pasta with a quarter of the calories and not many carbs. Crazy but true.
Yes they do have a scent out of the bag but I triple rinse with warm water and they are fine. You have to prep them to get the right consistency.
I learned about them from Hungry Girl. I watch her on tv sometimes. She has recipes about these on her site.0 -
