I started on my food plan last Thanksgiving, and have lost 44 pounds in just about 5 months. Not bad for a 68 year old lady with bad knees.
This photo was taken last Sunday morning. I weighed in at 227.2 last week.
When I am at home, I must use a walker. When I am outside my home, I am restricted to a wheelchair. However, I am only 27 pounds away from qualifying new knees.
Don't let anyone tell you that you can't lose wait, if you can't jog or go to the gym for your workouts. I have gone from size 4X to 2X in blouses...and I am a size OXpetite in pants now. I can only do Sit And Fit exercises, but I am still getting smaller ALL OVER.
This photo shows my biggest supporter and my hero, my sweet hubbie...Pastor Special Ed. He decided to change his eating habits too and has lost about 30 pounds since December 2012. I am so proud of him and grateful that this fine man shares my life...all of it.

You are both inspiring! Good to know that even without walking, one can lose weight with a lot of determination. Hope your surgery (when you will have it) will be successful and propel you to all new outdoor experiences.0 -

When both of my knee replacements are done, I want a Grannie tricycle with a basket in the back. Then, I can go for rides with my hubbie and even give our dog Bailey a ride, if her little legs get tired.0 -
