I have found that I stay more focused on my goals if I make myself accountable to others by sharing my goals so I hope you all don't mind if I post them here and then give an update at the end of each day of how I've did. And anyone else who wants to share their personal goals feel free to jump in too!!!

My goals for the week of July 26 - August 1

Drink at least 135.2 ounces of water each day :drinker:
Even though I drink "diet" soda, limit myself to only one can per day so I can focus on my water intake
Only one "sweet" food a day . . .and make that one a lower calorie version than normal
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, at least 4 days of the week

    Great goals-

My goals- Eat dinner by 530pm and no food after 7pm- lately i've been eating at 7pm or later, and maybe thats stalling my weight loss.

treadmil/elliptical at least 30 min 6 days of the week, with one of those days, being a military style PRT - and do bb bootcamp 6 days mon-sat

Drink 160 ounces of water per day 64 ounces before lunch 32 ounces after lunch/before I go home, 1 during work out, and 1 more before bed

Only get on the scale one Wednesday and Sunday- instead of EVERY day.

    Great idea!

    My goals for the week:
Exercise 4-5 days for at least 30 mins each
Eat breakfast at least 3-4 days... this is hard for me, I'm not used to eating breakfast at all!

    Great idea!!!

    My plan for this week:
Monday: Zumba + Elliptical or Circuit Training (most likely Circuit Training)
    Tuesday: C25k +Circuit Training
Wed.: Zumba + Elliptical or Circuit Training (again most likely Circuit Training)
    Thurs: C25k +Circuit Training
    Friday: Pedicure =)
    Saturday: C25K+Zumba+Circuit Training
I would like to burn an average of 750 calories per workout for a total of 3750 for the week.

I'm currently set at 1280 so my workout calories would put me at 2030 cals. I don't want to eat them all so I'm going to go for a range between 1500-1800cals.

Okay I must come back & "confess". . .I posted this with all intentions of my eating be done for the day but then after I posted I ended up having a peanut butter/jelly sandwich & one of those Little Debbie Nutty Bars. So my goal for the sweets got derailed but today is a new day & I am going to try to be stronger tonight. . .it's always the evenings that seem to get me

Yesterday is gone so it doesn't matter what we did then. What is important is TODAY !! And we CAN meet our goals for today !!! Late night is bad for me also - but I try to chew gum so I don't stick those sweets in my mouth.

I had breakfast yesterday and today! WOOT! 2 Days down =)

I worked out yesterday, but only for 28 minutes. I was dying, not sure why... I've been doing 35-40 minutes the last week, 30 should have been easy for me. Oh well.. today is a new day!

Today was not so good for me goal-wise. . .

Soda: goal was 1 can. . .I had 2 cans
Sweets: goal was only 1 sweet. . .I had 2 brownies plus a Little Debbie cake
Exercise: goal was 30 min/4 days. . .I only did 15 min. but this is only the 2nd day so I can still make up for that & still meet my weekly goal
Water: goal was 135.2 oz. . . .I had 169 oz :drinker: So at least I did SOMETHING right today!!!

Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to try my best to be SUPER GOOD the rest of the week and make up for all my wrongs today!!

Got my exercise in today... made it 37 mins on my elliptical. Debating whether or not to take tomorrow off, I have a class on thurs that will be 45-60 mins and it killed me last week.
  • Late to the party, but I have one and only one goal this week. Track every day.

I just started (back) at 'all this' mid-week last week. When I track, I eat better. Not perfect, but better. I also cook more when I track, which means I eat better.

So this week, I will track everything.

    So far, so good. :)

Friday. . .another pretty good day. . .the only problem was I got sidetracked this morning and ended up not eating breakfast which meant I have more on my "snacks" category than I like. Nothing really "bad" but I felt like I had to have the something else or end up with a bunch of extra calories left over.

    Water 219.7
    Soda NONE!
    Exercise 80 minutes total today
Sweets 1 Reisen candy, peanut/butter & jelly sandwich (on wheat bread), Quaker Quakes Mini-Rice snacks

My goals for this coming week are:
Drink at least 3 liters of water everyday (How many oz. are in a liter?)
Continue eating breakfast at least 5 times this week
Workout 5 days this week for about 30 mins or more
And to stay away from the scale until my next weigh-in... I've been obsessing over it too much lately.

I will do better tomorrow on the sweets. . .honestly if it weren't for this "sweet tooth" that I have I would probably be UNDERWEIGHT!!! That's what gets me everytime. . .so note to self. . .focus, focus, focus. . . .:embarassed:

Exercise: 30 mins on the elliptical
    And I had breakfast

And I peeked at the scale  Damn you scale calling my name from the closet!
