My sister in law does this to her baby all the time - the pics never look like the baby - it is freaky- but my mother-in-law loves the pics so they keep photoshopping the poor thing!

Seriously? They're photoshopping the baby? That poor child is going to have a rough life, because I doubt they'll stop doing it the older the kid gets.

I totally photoshopped my baby...but I don't think this is what you mean....photoshop, it's not all evil.

In your professional opinion I was wondering... Have you seen the recent magazine cover with Kim Kardashian in a bikini while 7 months pregnant?? Was wondering your opinion on that mag cover. Does it appear to be photoshopped too?

It is! If that person had those legs it would be hilarious to watch them walk. One leg would be 50 feet long & the other leg would be normal.

Besides, of course, the ridiculous length compared to the rest of her bodies, the knees (or lack of) really make the picture. They look like barbie doll knees.

It wouldn't surprise me at all, since I found that one celeb who was photoshopped to look anorexic. I think some publications are more prone to do that than others, i.e. the gossip rags, just to create gossip.

I wonder if some magazines photoshop her to look larger than she is lately? I remember Star a few weeks ago had a picture of Kim in a black/white dress & it seemed as if they photoshopped her backside to make it huger while her front looked somewhat normal.

So I'm just going to say, this thread is really intresting to me. And the point of it for me, is to never, ever compare myself, or be unhappy with myself based on what other people look like. Especially on Mag Covers.
I think I am sensitive to Kim Kardashian because I am more Armenian than she is. Shes 1/2 & I'm 3/4. And she classically looks more Armenian than I do, :ohwell: and freaking has more $ than I do. :ohwell: But who cares. Thats something I need to work on. Rant over about her. I will not compare myself to her. Looks wise, or $ money wise. :laugh:

On one hand this thread is amazing, and inspiring, and thank you thank you to the OP for starting it....

On the other hand it's terribly terribly sad that this is the reality we face.... women that don't exist, standards that are created on a false basis. We as humans wonder what WE are *supposed* to look like. For God sakes. Why is it wrong and unaccepted (not sure if that's a real word...eh) to be REAL.

Show us a human, a real woman (or man, not being sexist here) Stop the madness, it's ridiculous.

Oh yes I did see that one too. That Magazine is soooooo notorious for their photos. Theres been a definate calling for experienced and talented photoshop artists. Most of each celebrity has their own artist who works for them. From what I hear.
